not heard about the oxford vaccine failing whats happened to itIt wont when the numbers start getting scary. They already are. I was hoping that a vaccine would get here just in time. Oxford vaccine looks compromised and we don't know if that's legitimately the case or whether it's a casualty of US politics. A similar US vaccine has also gone down. That leaves us with Pfizer and Moderna. Target date for results end Oct and late Nov.
It’s not really his job to follow the science though. It’s his job to listen to the science (all the science as well) and make a balanced judgement about the risks, costs and benefits involved, to be fair.Boris said in the presser that he is following the science ,he trotted that out in response to a difficult question he didnt want to answer , he clearly isnt as whitty and SAGE have told him what needs doing, rushi has put inplace the finances

Find that hard to believe. I have been going to the gym on and off for c20yrs. They are filthy and the meatheads in those places have no concept of hygiene. Gyms are germ factories.
Johnson and Hancock perhaps?I don’t think there is anyone in the whole country apart from Cummings who didn’t think he should have been fined, sacked and generally humiliated

It was ha!ted due to adverse reactions , it has restarted here last i heard , it is normal in trials,a vaccine was never going to be ready by now, i think what was said about it was misuderstood by the pub!icnot heard about the oxford vaccine failing whats happened to it
Johnson and Hancock perhaps?
He has said every single time since the start till now that he is following the science , it is an easy throwaway comment to shift the blame when he is put on the spot , we know he isnt now so he should stop saying it and take responsibilityIt’s not really his job to follow the science though. Grooming gangs are known spreaders as well?I’m not sure whether the circuit breaker would make much of a difference. If the current rules are enforced properly hardly anyone will want to go to the pub as you can’t sit with mates from different households.
Btw Kier might be right but it’s still a shame he couldn’t speak out about the grooming gangs.
Not one voice in The media felt like calling them out either!Scousers doing what they do best, always the victim.
Yet not a single fuck given choosing it upon themselves to ignore the advice and restrictions to flood the city centre with 25,000 people to have a title party.
That, and the Atletico Madrid game, put that place on a one-way ticket to chaos.
Feel sorry for those businesses there that did adhere.

A circuit breaker would be a national wide lockdown.
It would make a difference.

It really is that simple. Large on the spot fines that can't be argued would soon see a big reduction of the pond life who think they can do what they want. And clamp down on rule breakers.
The first thing that strikes me is the ages of the patients filling the critical care beds.
The faces of COVID-19 victims seared into our collective consciousness are mostly elderly. Not exclusively but overwhelmingly. But as I walk through Warrington Hospital's intensive care unit I see that many of these patients are not old
