I'm not an expert but i'm fairly sure gym traffic now is higher than it was back in your day. Which was the point as you well know.
 
Tonight I was doing an Emergency Shop masked up and got a cab back from The Store, My Einstein Driver decided then to tell me how COVID 19 Is a PR Stunt!
I told him my wife had Contracted it June and Thankfully has now recovered, I was asymptomatic as was my Step Daughter too
Dingaling the Cab Driver then tells me it was no worse than a cold,ffs
So I asked him how is it possible then for all these Dreadful Deaths all over the World to be occurring with Colds?
Before he could Give me his well researched Opinion we got to my stop
Cant understand some people
He also told me he has never worn a Mask either
So, maybe he was lining up to have a cold
Too
And, he had a rag hat on!

i think now Lancashire have moved into tier 3 it will force him into following suit

In three weeks time burnham could well be trying to re write the last week and paint a very different picture

FWIW, after the lockdown was released I gradually went back to having a decent quality of life including going to the pub once a week, visiting relatives, picking up work, going to voluntary gardening groups and even having a kickabout on one occasion.

For the last week, I have reverted to living like in the lockdown. I have done some long walks and exercises in the house to try to improve my fitness. I’ve also been watching TV box sets.

That said, an extended second full lockdown would be worse this time around because of the worse weather making it harder to be outside and have a socially distanced chat / drink with the neighbours.

The nightingales weren’t ready until May mate, far too late to be used, when I was there they had 10 in and a month later it shut down as we came out of lockdown. The facts are they don’t have the staff for 400 patients in the Manchester one without retirees coming back and hospitals closing down vast departments to man them. The only thing they do is concentrate all Covid patients in one area, they don’t help the normal hospitals out in anyway apar5 for prevent spread infection. No staff to carry out normal day to day stuff, will mean cancellation of operations, treatments etc.

It's all about theoretical "capacity", just like most of what the government has done tbh. Shouting about big numbers, when the reality is that there isn't nearly enough manpower to actually realistically fulfil those numbers, just like with their testing bullshit.
