Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

No, I think he has elevated our club to levels we (and most other fans of most other clubs) didn't think was possible. Record after record broken.
So to cast him aside when his record in the league stands at 4th, 1st, 1st and 2nd is pretty conclusive evidence that to part ways is simply on brexit level stupidity.
But that's pretty much what you said when you talked about how the owners and the fans should be begging him to stay. WE have won before Pep and we will win after Pep. No one is bigger than the club and if the club feels it's time for him to go he will. The club doesn't owe him anything and certainly should not be "begging" for him to stay.

From what I am reading, its only people discussing the options/repercussions if he does leave.
If he leaves, he leaves. He has done his bit and if he wants a new challenge then good luck to him.
But if we pull the trigger on him, then that is foolish in the extreme.
The next guy may win us the champions league, but to do that you have to play a brand of football I dislike, in fact I don't even consider it football at all, more on a par with WWE wrestling.
I really enjoy watching my team play, and have done for a decade now. Long may that continue.

Not good business to remove a key component in success.

I think the success is not just down solely to Pep but years of planning by the club. Basically what you are implying is that if Pep leaves we are fucked. Pep left Bayern and they are not doing too bad right?
No, we are not fucked. We are in a healthy state.
If he leaves, nothing can be done about it. If we bin him it's a mistake. Anything that can be done by the senior bods must be done to keep the biggest factor in our recent success at the club.

If he is binned, then the club doesn't see him fit to lead the team in the future. I will trust the club more considering the success they have brought through careful planning. I am sure the next manager we hire would be extensively looked at. Again, you are contradicting yourself here. You think we are in a healthy state even if Pep leaves but at the same time you want the club and the fans to beg him to stay.

I wonder if the owners have told him to go all out for champs league at the expense of any challenge in the league, cups and make it cap off his time here before he goes.
Going down the Liverpool route?

Problem is, uefa will fuck us over again, simple as that. Our senior management must know there is a vendetta against the club after all that has gone on.

Our name will not go on that cup until uefa completely change their top brass.

I don't think there's any chance they will bin him. There's more chance of Klopps teeth going yellow.

"Healthy state" is relative. I would say Spurs are in a healthy state, lately. But would you swap them their manager?

Manchester City’s opening goal was their 600th goal scored under manager Pep Guardiola in all competitions – they have scored 117 more goals than any other Premier League side since Guardiola took charge in August 2016
