The project did peak and is renewing itself as we go, and will be close to complete next season once Aguero and Fernandinho are replaced. That renewal will be much the same same players whoever the coach is.
so then the question is who’s best to coach the renewed team. For me it will still be Pep.

You can add to the list Thomas Tuchel (who will be available soon and is closest tactically to the Pep's style), Erik Ten Hag (worked with Pep at Bayern), Peter Bosz (your typical Cruyffian enthusiast) and so on.. even Roberto De Zerbi and his gung-ho style at Sassuolo.. the question is are these coaches capable not only to continue Guardiola's work in terms of the style of play but the continue to be as successful as him in terms of the results..
I would hope for a different or at least a tweaking in the style of play. It's become very stale, we are quite a boring team to watch this and last season.

No it's being honest which some can't bring themselves to do. A lot of talking amongst yourselves going on watching us last 2 seasons. It's been a huge drop off in entertainment and results.

Sure do. My late dad was a Utd. fan and I was thrilled they won in '68. But in those days I think there was a more supportive view taken of any British Isles team competing at that level. I was disgusted at them beating Bayern although by no means a fan of Bayern, they just didn't deserve it on the night.It was the hold-up of the century. They literally didn't lay a glove on Bayern for nearly the entire match. I remember being hugely pissed off about it. Funny, because I admit that I was behind them against Benfica in 68. Times change, eh?

I saw some really good games last season , was there a drop off ,yes.No it's being honest which some can't bring themselves to do. Of course we talk amongst ourselves watching it on T.V, at home I haven’t even watched a game with other teams this season due to lack of interest .Best you got to try and bring a season in you knew I wasn't talking about? Pretty desperate fella

Correct , our football is unmatched , i rarely watch any other games though , occasionally the Rags and Dippers in the hope they get beat , if they are losing or struggling i continue to watch , but as soon as they score and are looking like winning , i turn it off :)Being honest I love watching City regardless of results and sometime drop offs in entertainment levels, they are always interesting to watch.

Not sure its a huge drop off in entertainment , we are still playing good footballing and creating chances , ive tried to watch other premier league games and usually turn off within a few minutes , there is some turgid , boring football in the Premier league but we are not one of the teams producing that football.No it's being honest which some can't bring themselves to do. A lot of talking amongst yourselves going on watching us last 2 seasons. It's been a huge drop off in entertainment and results.
Maybe we have been spoiled with nearly 150 goals a season in all competitions but that has got to be tough to achieve every season , we will have to settle for around 100-120 this season , most clubs can only dream of that.

Fair play to you mate I find it really hard work watching us pass sideways endlessly then eventually sterling runs into about 4 defenders or ffs cuts inside and has his shot blocked. Final third has become very stale this season and last. We have obviously had spurts of decent stuff.
It’s what happens when a great side and manager decline you get just enough to keep a bit of hope there. I understand fans hoping for a turn around and I could be wrong but entertaining it isn’t.
