Im just hoping its one of the goverments plans that they change at the last minute, really concerned about sending our two back in this current climate

We've made the decision tonight not to send our daughter back in. Luckily she's a good kid who loves to learn so she's not a problem at home regarding work. Think I'll have more issues with the school.

Here are the differences between LONDON and NORTH WEST in hospital patients and ventilators in past day

LONDON Patients up 414 to 5371. That is 1812 up in 7 days.

Ventilators up 43 to 599. That is up 199 in 7 days.

NORTH WEST Patients up 6 to 2352 (3019 FEWER than London) That is DOWN 54 in 7 days.

Ventilators DOWN 4 to 171. That is up 18 in 7 days.

Two months ago when much of the NW (except Merseyside) was in strict measures and GM had been since July London was not.

Then they had under 1000 in hospital and under 100 on ventilators.

Now both areas are in the same measures. Despite going in opposite directions.

And Merseyside isn't.

Hard to see science is driving these decisions.

I’ve got a lot of time for Jonathan Van-Tam. He seems like he knows his stuff, like he’s good at his job, he explains things well, has a good voice to listen to and just seems like a top bloke!

Can someone help me with the rules please.
My girlfriend is in a tier 4 area (northwich)
I am Trafford (tier 4). We both live alone and have formed a support bubble.
I wanted to spend NYE with her tomorrow evening. I've looked at the rules and I'm not sure whether I am allowed to go.
It mentions if you form a support bubble you can meet am I correct?

You are.

Tbh only difference for me is no haircut and no gym between tier 3 or 4

never went to anything other than a food shop anyway

hopefully everyone over 70’s had their jabs by middle of Feb and March time can be a lot less restrictive
