Not arsed about his 'fame'. Not sure why this has become important. Beckham is famous and known by vast majority. Doesn't make his views anymore impressive.
Andre Previn is well known as a Conductor but only because he appeared on Morecambe and Wise.
In his sphere, which is considerable, Rattle is known and well regarded. He has a view. Not sure why people feel the need to dumb down or be proud of dumbing down. Plays into the hands of those who see Brexit as an intelligence based equation.

If I could provide anything that would change your mind I would.
But I can’t do that unfortunately, which is because no matter what you are full of Tory hatred and will not listen to anything that is not in line with what you already believe
For the record I wrote to my local Tory mp to let him know I thought voting against free meals was a disgrace. I also pointed out we voted our last labour mp out for voting against brexit constantly.
I blame the Tory’s for certain things....just not everything

No people are just having a laugh, just like you do when there is news about someone else’s livelihood going tits up because of Brexit. Must be very pleasing for you to see the Frenchies and the Germans getting it elsewhere on this thread

I would suggest that - "....yes on reflection - it was indeed clearly condescending and insulting....."

Would have been a more appropriate response.

This seems to be a day when Remainers - likely in the absence of sufficient apocalyptic news to report - are back to their bingo card

Leavers are:
ignorant, uncultured, uneducated.......

TBF - at least they have upgraded from thick, etc - which was afterall a bit tired.

It seems that we have people that are a CEO, Sales Manager, a waiter, a Telecomms expert, a doctor, a BA pilot, a brickie, a chippy, a scaffolder and various other trades

in roles staffed by people that are all uncultured and uneducated - the country is indeed fucked.....

TBF - I have found these threads have helped with my self-awareness over the years....

I have been made more and more aware of my many limitations and character flaws

It has helped me enormously and - should I ever again get the opportunity to vote in a 2nd referendum on EU membership - I have been fully convinced to vote Remain by the compelling nature of the arguments set out

How could you vote remain when we’ve already left, unless you’re thinking Cyprus will have a referendum?

I don't mind someone not knowing who one of the world's leading musicians is. The comments are against making a virtue of not knowing who he is in order to dismiss his views.

The leavers have gone for culture buffs and wine drinkers. Sod any concern for the fishermen ...
 
what good are opportunities in the future for businesses that have long since gone under and disappeared?
