People on both sides getting their panties all bunched up for nothing. He will never play for City imo.
Give them Mahrez and £25m
Would much rather get rid off Mahrez. Sterling is massively underappreciated. Yes, his form is poor, but after all it’s the same guy that has been averaging 41,3 G&A over the past 3 seasons (not including international games). Once the attack truly gets back to form, he will score bucketloads. AgainGrealish is quality. Look at his stats. Young links play and scores goals. I personally would get rid of Sterling and spend the money on him.
Maddison always impresses me when I watch him...maybe ship Mahrez back to Leicester as part of the deal!Definitely not what we need. Would prefer Maddison because he actually plays in midfield and doesn’t need to have hundred touches of the ball.
Believe we need a winger though to ship out Mahrez
Grelish i wouldnt touch at all...not what we need...Foden is twice the player already......Would much rather get rid off Mahrez. Sterling is massively underappreciated. Grealish is overrateed and stats can do that for a player. Sterling has better work rate, is able to take players on, is able to get in behind defences and is more adaptable.Grealish is quality. he already has....couple of prem league medals, fa cup medal, carabou cup medals, Under 17 world cup winner......champs league appearances...IN the next 18 months Foden will surpass him,
Does he ever beat them?Grealish is overrateed and stats can do that for a player. Sterling has better work rate, is able to take players on, is able to get in behind defences and is more adaptable.
Foden is twice the player Grealish is already...stay well away from him
Yes he does...and gets in behind defences on a constant basis.....he loses out on beating his man as well (more than Mahrez does cause Mahrez rarely takes someone on, instead opting to either run inside or make a pass sidewards or backwards).Does he ever beat them?
Sterling rarely takes on his man,he beats them even less, and his end product is pants.Yes he does...and gets in behind defences on a constant basis.....he loses out on beating his man as well (more than Mahrez does cause Mahrez rarely takes someone on, instead opting to either run inside or make a pass sidewards or backwards).
Sterling will natually lose the duals/ball more than Mahrez for instance because he takes more chances
absolute bollocksSterling rarely takes on his man,he beats them even less, and his end product is pants.
Grealish is light years ahead of him in terms of productivity, casuing problems and creativeness. He's also a leader, unlike Sterling.
Not wishing to moan about Sterling but in his last few games he has not been getting past his marker. I think he is a good player and happy to have him in the team. However, too often recently moves have been breaking down at the point Sterling has been on the ball. My opinion is that he takes the ball too close to the marker and reduces his own options to continue the move. I am not saying that moves only break down with him but as he is so often involved and starts a lot of games its happening more often to him than others.Yes he does...and gets in behind defences on a constant basis.....he loses out on beating his man as well (more than Mahrez does cause Mahrez rarely takes someone on, instead opting to either run inside or make a pass sidewards or backwards).
