Jack Grealish

Can anyone tell me exactly what the drink driver did last night that suddenly warrants all this adulation. From what I saw he left one on Jesus, Walker, KDB and Stones only one of which I think was given as a free kick when all four in their own right arguably warranted a card each time. One pass in the area that McGinn I think didn't connect with and that was the total sum of his 90+ minutes play. Oh I heard some squealing from him when he fell over a couple of times. He is a medium fish in a small pond and Vile are welcome to him

absolute bollocks

Sterling has 144 goals at the age of 26, Grealish is 25 and has 36 goals.

"Light years ahead in terms of productivity"
Nah,you need to watch their respective overall contributions over 90 mins. One terrifies the opposition on a consistent basis......

Maddison always impresses me when I watch him...maybe ship Mahrez back to Leicester as part of the deal!
Big no to Maddison. Having seen Foden completely outclass him at the U21 Euros in 2019 it made me realise the level of ability it actually takes to be a City player.

Maybe he's improved and maybe he'll get better. But City need to do more than sign players who are just impressive.

He wouldn't dare try any of his antics on Dinho or Cancella (who has a bit of devilment in him potentially) instead our Kyle Walker went over to Grealish and fist bumped him as he trudged off the pitch injured.

It's a no for me.
Agree,

I think he is a good player, but he's going to be 26 at the beginning of the next campaign, they are asking for crazy money for a 25-year-old who has consistent off the pitch issues.

I'd much rather see Foden given a bigger role, I think he has a higher ceiling than Grealish and is much younger.

The only reason I would see in buying him is that he would help with the homegrown quota.

Does his tweet calling us a brilliant team and on field apologies to Kyle and Kevin suggest he knows he’s maybe wearing sky blue next year

I'm not one who has a personal issue with him or think he play acts or whatever but he was a massive arsehole the other night - throwing Walker, fouling de bruyne and kicking off with GJ. I still rate him, but with Foden smashing it on the left surely a new striker, left back and possibly midfielder are the priority?

Except he's stopped doing that too.He offers very little these days, and given the wage he's on....that's unacceptable.

I don't get the blinkers.
Not blinkered pal............ form is temporary class is permanent. Our Raheem will come back strongly IMHO!

Reminds me of Juan Roman Riquelme. Could never play with other big time players. But make him the big fish in a slightly smaller pond and he thrives and looks like a Superstar. Coz even big teams struggle to contain him.

Grealish smells Riquelmish to me :)
