Mbappe will be in his last year of his contract next year won’t he? He’ll probably sign a contract next January with Madrid. Pretty big blow for PSG if he leaves for free. Can see them trying to push him out this summer.
 
I know he just got injured, but overall he’s been ok, but I’d say Harry Kane. Top of the league for assists and second for goals scored.

he’s regularly top goal scorer and puts up some of the best numbers in the league. Would be unstoppable in our side for 3/4 years

He’d be great for us but getting injured a lot more and dealing with Levy would be painful. He needs to leave though, he could finish his career with 400 goals and 0 trophies.

Be very hard to prise him away from Spurs as his loyalty to them is unquestionable. Can’t see us making that move . We will not get any of Kane haaland or mbappe so it will be interesting to see ehh we’d get as my money is on Nunez from benfica .

If we can't get haaland I'd like us to get alexander isak, kids got bags of potential. Same build and skill set as haaland but more towards Ibra. I know ppl will think its a lazy comparison because he is Swedish but he has that unpredictability ibra has. Polish up his technique and finishing and you have a world class striker.
 
Hot off the back of a cracking finish. I like Bamford. Bielsa has already done great work with him and Pep could take him up a level I think. English tax and Leeds have no reason to sell but I just wonder if he is a dark horse in our search.
 
Given Sergio is sadly on a downward trajectory the need for another striker is obvious, and has been for some time. I like Felix at at Atletico Madrid.. might be worth a look at if we can’t get you know who.

He would score for fun at city and his off the ball running would be great aswell but we would never go for him
 
Does anyone know why every single City beat journalist has been briefed that we're not signing Diego Costa this morning? I can't find anyone suggesting that we were in the first place, seems strange to shoot down a non-existent rumour.

I believe it was mentioned a few weeks back when Athletico ended his contract and the media talked about cover for city in that position, the city beat journalists shot the rumour down then and I think they're doing it now to oppose lazy deadline day journalism
