Sorry but I know that some on here questioned the validity of alleged earlier attacks this week - I don' t nor do I question this - its as plain as the attacks on City players and other players from other clubs and this needs to be stamped out now. I questioned the validity because I have not seen anything that says they reported the attacks to the media platform let alone the police. If we really want to stamp this out we first of all have to report it, not to the media but to twitter etc and the police.
I honestly believe the rag propoganda machine is simply using it to keep them in the headlines, that is never going to stop the abuse.

On this, i think the majority of those making these sorts of comments are teenagers/kids in bedrooms.
I think social media could do more to take things down and there’s an argument about how old you should be to go on social media (though there’s lots of young people doing good raising money awareness etc which would be effected by that).

but I do think this is overblown somewhat. I don’t see how any of those abused are genuinely effected by the posts (in the context that they are most likely kids in bedrooms) and if they are they’re too weak to make it as a footballer.

There's a certain irony about tabloid newspapers, especially the Daily Mail, whining about social media channels not removing racist comments. These newspapers have allowed racist comments about our owner for years on their websites. They rarely remove them. The comments on Mailonline at the bottom of City stories are straight out of the sewer.

Oh, i didn't mean the joy from us City fans & i certainly don't care about Utd fans but even the neutrals get no enjoyment out of watching Utd play.
I've had loads of people mention how good it is watching City play but practically everyone (non media anyway) is completely scathing about how Utd play football.

as much as i dislike United, in Fernandes they found a very good midfielder. Without him they are average to poor, with him they flirt around average with his goals to drag them through to wins.

i have no idea how they sit second after 21 games, I guess it's the slightly pot luck nature of the first third/half of the season that has seen no team play consistently until City started to at Christmas.

when you reach about 26 games, another instinct kicks in as you begin to see the finish line. If they're still hanging about after 26 games, they'll be a fecking nuisance, if they drop off in the next 5 they'll fight to finish 4th

I don't think they are good enough to win it, and I seriously doubt their credentials to make top 4. They simply are not a good enough side to be a threat to us, and I don't see things changing in the foreseeable future.
My reasoning being that it is as it's always been - media hype. Glittering headlines from the rag-loving media about Penandez, Pogbad, Saint Rashford and whoever else is flavour of the month do nothing to conceal the fact that these players are simply not all that.
Let's be realistic, not one of the rags would get into our side, and probably not the dippers either. Maybe one or two might get into the Arsenal or Spuds side, but as for the rest - probably not even Steve Bruce would be interested (actually, that's going way too far: Bruce would sign someone who once walked past the swamp just for the rag connection).

Had it not been for some decidedly sinister refereeing decisions the vermin would be below mid-table, of that I'm sure. So fuck 'em, they're an irrelevance: nothing to concern ourselves about.
