I think it's the 22nd when we know what route out of lockdown is.
that will help me and others cope better I suspect.

Yes I totally get it and understand.I am.
My young children are.
My lad at uni is
My mrs is a teacher and doing 12 hours a day at home (when not in sch) as its so much more difficult not doing normal teaching, shes struggling.
i know we have this battle on our hands and im in no way belittling that but personally speaking i need the “road map to recovery” spelling out. I need to know that if we do ‘this’, ‘this’ will happen
im not buying into ‘everyday is a step closer’ when no body actually knows when that day is!! It just doesnt seem to be getting closer
No more than £100 a night, if it’s a £35 room!OK. How much do you think should be charged?
Likewise, kids getting back to school has to be a priority I'm sure a lot a lot of parents will cope better knowing the kids are back to some sort of normality.that will help me and others cope better I suspect.
People who desire power will use power totally.Yes I totally get it and understand.
I had a mental breakdown last year through all of this and thought a lot about whether I wanted to carry on, that was last summer. It's now a year into all this.
I'm a lot better and run every day, I had a relationship with a lovely woman that last a few months but we finished 2 weeks ago as we both couldn't cope with the isolation and lack of things to do, it broke us.
I live on my own and trying to deal with this is impossible now after a year.
The government are drunk on power and are making decisions without legislation or debate.
They have lost all control.

I thought it was when they will start to discuss the road map out and we would find out a week later. Hence the possibility of schools slowly opening 2 weeks after that (8th march)A lot of people really struggling. Are they still taking about a road map out on the 15th?
Yes this is my gripe with what's happeningPeople who desire power will use power totally.
Im sorry to hear about your struggles. I came off anti depressants a week before lock down last year, not great timing but i was ok! As i was through most of the year. Turn of this year though and ive dipped. With the news of vaccines in dec i was so full of hope and although the amount or vaccinations is totally amazing, the unknown of when any sort of normality will come back is killing me.
its as tho the gov enjoy that hold over us.
as i say, if i was told that it wont be, say October (!!!) til pubs, cafes, restaurants, gyms etc open, it is so far away but if itbwas 100% i could get my head round it and work towards it.
but we are literally no nearer knowing when any sort of reopening is going to happen
sorry i ended up waffling
I think the base room cost is negated as they iirc are decided on overhead and %occupancy. No more than £100 a night, if it’s a £35 room!
Yes this is my gripe with what's happening
People are being jabbed why can we not have some normality back, even little bit?
They are drunk on power.
Thanks mate I'll try and be more positive I promise.hang on in there Matt. Can see you are struggling. Hopefully in a week or two we will have a bit more news.
I dont desire much, im a simple man really. But this not knowing is pissing me off and i do really think that people in power enjoy the hold over the big secret that they know but we dontYes this is my gripe with what's happening

Are we not grown up to be told that when the numbers get to ‘this’ we can have ‘that’? Treating us like kids im afraid. To all those who are struggling, just have a bit of faith for a few more weeks. Whilst the gov are crap at communication, they cannot sanction loosening of restrictions whilst the case numbers are so high. Yes, they are heading in the right direction, but they are not low enough yet.
It doesn’t help when the media ask dumb questions that neither the politicians nor scientists are in a position to answer yet. The vaccines are the way out of this, but they need 1. To get through the people at risk and 2. Data from the vaccinations themselves.
Change is coming, just watch those daily case numbers and hospitalisation numbers and then you won’t need an answer from Boris - you’ll be able to work out when restrictions will be lifted. And the good news is that both these figures are coming down nicely.

I disagree a little. The data looks good but underneath it there are variants emerging which maybe difficult to wipe out. May. I think it's the uncertainty that's difficult to deal with. It really isn't clear how big a threat the variants are as we don't know whether the vaccines will hold their replication in check. To all those who are struggling, just have a bit of faith for a few more weeks.
