Keir Starmer

I want a Socialist party. There is no centre left party, there are centrist and RW parties and I will not vote for either.

If I want a Vindaloo, i am going to settle for a Korma, I may as well save my money and have a bacon butty.

lesser of two evils

get the Tories out, shape the Labour party where you have a voice towards more socialist agendas.

Until we rid the Tories absolutely nothing can be achieved and your socialist dream will remain just that.

like I said that is negative democracy, i will not vote for something I don't believe in.

The lessons of Blair were hard earned on my behalf.

but surely you would rather a centre left party than to live eternity under the Tories ?
There's no such thing as centre left.

If Starmer announces his policies were "centre left",the same billionaire influences who stand to lose money would, via their various platforms denounce Starmer as a communist for doing something that sounds reasonable.

UK politics is no longer democratic. The Tories have created a Corprocracy boarding on Oligarchy.

I look forward to his endorsement by the Torygraph.

How did Major Disaster reply?
"We'll support the proposal but will tut if theres there's something we don't like...I'm not going to skew you about the health Secretary gaslighting on TV yesterday and shout demanding his resignation. Or demand we see the contracts your government signed over to your mates..."

Scratching my head here.

Sunak is leaking raising corporation tax and Starmer wants his MPs to vote against it?

Covid has a lot to answer for...

Mate, it's a nice sentiment, but he is actually opposing corporate taxation - not tax on companies per se, but tax on their profits. It's one thing to court the centrist vote, but I think once as labour leader you find yourself to the right of a tory chancellor on taxation policy then the game's up.

Not sure about Starmer but what I do know is that the people he has appointed will not get Labour anywhere near winning a GE.

Quite pathetic.

I think that we have come to the point in time that we have to agree on a sensible cross party approach to Covid-19, the deficit and how to fix things?

For the sake of the economy, the future and for British industry and jobs can we not all agree to sacrifice our first born and buy a brand new Mini Metro to save the future?

Makes about as much sense as anything I am reading from Starmer
