I now think it will take 84 points to lift the title and it will go to the last day again. I can see us dropping a further 8 points as we chase the Cups and ManUre winning all their remaining games.

The media will be all over how Olly is a genius clawing back our lead and we will win it again at the death ( causing both sets of supporters to have heart attacks) !

The actual quote was "keep getting beat by teams doing the same thing to us"
ie turning over possession and playing in behind our high line. The rags and spuds have done us plenty of times like this through Peps tenure as have the dippers and Leicester and some far lesser teams as well.
But hey ho, to some Pep can never be wrong no matter what.
Anyway it will still take a colossal fuck up to lose the league from here, it won't happen but we could have made it a little easier for ourselves.
And what about all the other games that we didn’t lose? Do you not think each and every one of them tried to follow this blueprint for success? They all failed. Why did they fail? Because it isn’t an issue for City.

Do people really believe that this City team with Kev, Foden, Dias, Gundogan etc and with the greatest manager we have seen in the PL are going to throw an eight point advantage to Noddy and his clowns

Not a fucking chance
We had 14 point advantage with it potentially dropping down to 8. Nothing is certain.

It’s that shithouse performance in the derby that gave those cunts some belief.

Pep is amazing but his one fault for me is his that doesn’t seem to get how important it is to us not to lose any game to those scabby fucking vermin. So many times we seem to underperform against them, yet no matter what the league positions, upcoming games or anything else we have to beat those scum.

We've lost 4 in 32 games this season and some posters think we're gonna lose 3 of our last 6 (or 4 in our last 7 including leeds)

Liverpool hadn't lost 60+ games at home and then lost 6 in a row. Things change, past form does not guarantee success.

It's possible that we lose the title, but it is not likely. We are in an excellent position.

Playing for four trophies

Pep is right to prioritise CL this week

The league is not certain until won but fuck me cant see us throwing this

The Rags are playing Thursday night for a reason

Keep the faith

Quick question:
Please name the football side that has been flawless and had no “Achilles heel”?

I await your answer with great interest.

You have to remember you're talking to someone who wanted Pep (and Txiki) fired only a few months ago and said Rodri, Mahrez, Gubdogan, Zinchenko and Bernardo needed replacing.

And in 2017 he claimed Pep was out of his depth at City and had "no redeeming features".

Another one. What is this utd winning all their remaining games?
Tell you what mate, go and look at utds last 15 or so games and then post your findings.
In fact, from January 27th tell me how many games utd have won on the spin.
I'll wait.

4 games lost this season.

Leicester h.
Wolves h.
United h.
Leeds h.

Crazy. 12 points dropped at home. Not lost a single game away.

If you are going to win a quadruple you will having to sacrifice some games without your best team. That's what happened on Saturday, the large lead has given Pep this advantage. City have lost three games this season and they will not lose three of their remaining six. Also utd have some very tough games mainly with Liverpool, villa, Leeds and Leicester to come.

Im all seriousness lads. When did we really really f. Up in the 40 odd years?

We probably shouldn't haven't gone down in 83 or 98 so will give you that. The others were prerty much deserved.

We've been promoted every time we've had important last day games.

We've won 4 title. 3 having to win our last 6, 5 and 14 games.

Won 7 out 8 finals. Will give you Wigan.

We have won 9 semi finals out of 14. Probably the only one we were big favourites and lost was last season against Arsenal.

We don't normally fail when it's a pressure situation. We win.
Absolutely. The ‘typical City’ thing is an absolute fucking myth.

This team fucked it up massively against Arsenal and Lyon last season tbf, and the first leg of the Spurs CL game the previous year. But generally I agree, we do the business more often than not, the Domestic Quadruple is evidence of that. Though sometimes we do it the hard way like 93:20 and Bradford away
I mentioned the Arsenal semi final. For Lyon, Spurs, Liverpool and Monaco. Its my definition but I only counted game were we were close to winning the trophy. So at least semi final.
