Considering Sancho has already got England caps (unlike Pennant) and is only 6 goals shy of Pennants career total, despite playing 367 fewer professional games, "Time" was a few months ago.
More fun Pennant stats include the fact Sancho already has more top division league goals (16) than Pennant (13) despite playing 142 fewer games.

No-one disputes what Sancho has achieved at such a young age or can predict what he will have achieved at 25 or 30. My point is other promising youngsters have crashed by that age and there are many areas where he needs to improve to realise his potential.

What is more is that Foden’s doing it in Sancho’s position as well.
From the outside looking in two completely different characters. Going to Dortmund would have suited Sancho’s personality where as someone like Foden seems to prefer the trappings of home.
One player is ripping it up in Peps side, won a host of medals, plsying for the club he supports and another is one of Europes hottest properties, with plenty of experience, played in front of 80k each week and represented his country. Sounds like two success stories to me.

Shame he was injured, would have been good to see what level he is at. His numbers at Dortmund are inflated because hes playing against shite most weeks so up against Walker or Zinchenko would have given us a better idea of where he is at.

To be fair Sancho was hardly home grown, he was poached from Watford and played for us for 2 years, he is hardly one of us.Yeah but imagine them either side of Kev. Two home grown superstars that could be engines main stays for the next decade. Sancho would hardly have been a failure had he stayed.
He wanted his chance but Pep did not give it him, he went to play for a top German side and has been an outstading success, good luck to the guy.
