from what i hear some time ago the super league will be setup into 2 leagues with a knockout base finals and promotion and relegation from super one and two

Absolutely. I meant the PL continues with 20 clubs including the big 6. What it does to the competiveness of the PL is totally destroy it.But the PL doesn't continue as is.
If let's say a team gets ahead like Liverpool last season. There is no incentive for the other 5 to play their first team in the PL so they will concentrate on the ESL. That will make the PL a second rate competition

If this happens all the Super League clubs will only play each other in a Pan European League — not in 22 or 23, but inevitably, eventually. This is just a first step.
