IF City and the PL 6 teams get in AND get to stay in the Premier League, they would be absolutely MINTED. Would make the league very strong, especially those 6.

I can't see the PL actually excluding them, they will back down.

The rest would vote them out because with them in there is no point any other club competing.

Totally agree that's what should happen. I think the remainder of the season will be played out before anything happens though. The people in charge haven't got the balls to take immediate decisive action like that.

This will have been driven by a handful of the 12 - we can probably all guess who. The thing is, with 5 or 6 teams they don’t have a competition. If clubs like City, Chelsea and a couple of others had come together and shown some backbone, those driving this project would have had to can it.

I don't know the facts but if others wouldn't join City then we were probably left with survival (by following) as the only viable option. It's an awful state of affairs but as long as we weren't drivers of this I'd give the club the benefit of the doubt.

in an instant they’ve become 2nd division clubs who can never get into the top division and will lose any decent player they’ve ever had to a super league club!
