Afraid so.Someone on here said that?

As idiotic and naive as it sound, I'm still hopeful for this as well. A lot of the damage is done, but being one of the first to pull out could save us some grace. Could give us one hell of a leverage position if we go back to UEFA as well, could genuinly make us the top dogs.I think Khaldoon will listen, Glazers won't. I hope the difference between them (which is in my head) remains and is true.
City are a going concern. They make a profit. So there will be interest in buying us. There won't be any club debt if it isn't a leveraged buy out like the rags.
CorrectIf I understand correctly this awful Super League starts next season. So in which case Liverpool effectively have nothing to play for tonight?
I actually found myself singing that last sentence. ;)These owners are not stupid to rake in all this extra income only to send over on paychecks to the player.
salary cap will come in to make sure the profit wont be wasted on overpaid subs etc.
why anyone think current state of financials with Barcelona in a billion in debt etc was able to keep on going?
Covid hit clubs so hard and not everyone so lucky as City that owners can put the money in. Kroenke, Henry aint wanna put in anything and they losing a lot too due to covid.
current corrupt Uefa has to go, and rightly so, now they make themselves as saviour of football but we know that trick all too well.
Obviously its the Glazers/Woodwards baby. But we fucked up joining it. If we pull out and they don't, its a difference between the two owners. Our owners fucked up? Definitely, but if they can make it right, I am eventually going to fine with it.what difference? How are our owners different now. They only care about money.
I was on about before this happened mate, the CL should be a bonus not the goal. And how can they win the league if they dont have £300 mil in revenue that the other 6 parasites have.
Exactly. City need to look after themselves. We had no choice but to join this racket. Vomit inducing shite from the red scum on sky.
Self awareness isn’t always ones strong point:-)Actually wresting control of the game away from UEFA and giving it to the clubs is in the long term best interest of the game imo. I’m a lifelong City fan, on a City forum, watching on whilst City fans slag off our owner, call for the club to be banned, and insult fellow blues who see things differently. And I’m the bad one? I think not.
One Hundred and One DalmatiansHow much will it cost to get Aladdin to a match...
Agreed, but being devils advocate I think UEFAS reform was trying to pander to the cunty owners but it wasnt deemed good enoughI am bit fucking pissed off whilst watching sky sports right now, all this mouthing off about how corrupt and wrong this european super league is and how it is totally immoral that it will be a closed shop
And rightly so because that is what it is
But for the fucking life of me, I hope that these same pundits and managers actually do the same regarding the new champions league reform because that has just become a fucking closed shop more than what it already is - are they going to call Ceferin out that a club like liverpool or united could finish 7th in the domestic league but still qualify going of past history
Does that mean that a club like west ham could ultimately finish 4th but still lose out because liverpool or united have a better pedigree ?
Correct me if I am wrong but UEFA are ruining the game just as much
Are you actually joking? No choice? Of course we had a choice.Exactly. City need to look after themselves. We had no choice but to join this racket. Vomit inducing shite from the red scum on sky.
I still don’t think it’s enough. The players these clubs attract will see to that and before you know it, everyone’s watching it.I can see the anti ESL movement gathering pace....
Not sure of your argument there mate. The new European Super League is essentially a Champions League replacement. That’s the plan and the reason why so many of the higher positions wi
I think you have underestimated the revolt as have the clubs. A closed shop was the mistake. No it's not. The clubs knew the backlash they would get. The PL teams tomorrow will agree that the big 6 will continue in the league and continue to help line their pockets
It will come down to Super League v UEFA
I know!!! It took me a while to work out this forum nonsense as well!!!Just when I think I've caught up, another page is added.
