He will though, won’t he? Albeit some grumbling and some replaced with tourists. He already had that return in the capital value of his asset. He doesn’t need a further income stream that he wouldn’t ever notice.
And yes, he should fucking turn it down if he wants to have fans paying money into the club and attending games going forward.

Doesn't make them wrong though...........Yeah. The football club with two local owners who aren't at all dodgy.
A-fucking-menUCL- Bayern, PSG, City, Chelsea, Leicester, Dortmund, Lyon, Ajax etc
Super League- Spurs, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Barca, Inter, AC, Atletico, United, Liverpool (almost all of whom are on a pretty reliable cycle of at least one disastrous season in every three atm) and whoever they can scrape together
In that scenario the UCL is a better product. If City and Chelsea back out then the Super League is worthless.
Not sure what the score is with Bayern but don't BEIN Sports have TV rights to the CL until 2024, meaning PSG can't realistically put their name to the Super League until then at least?PSG because of the 2022 WC in Qatar?
Bayern and Dortmund as they are majority fan owned?
The p/w flying around shows these 3 clubs so they were obviously part of the thinking or talks originally. The fact that the 3 have said no, makes the SL a bit more of a mockery
They are currently on hold and number 23 in the queueReally hope that someone from City is on the phone to someone at Chelsea right now and for the sake of all fans of every club (bar the remaining 10) we do the right and proper thing.
Pull out now
Do you honestly trust Bayern, PSG or Chelsea enough to believe they won't fuck us over.Kill the ESL in the fucking womb. It doesn’t happen without Munich, Dortmund, PSG, City and Chelsea
But ultimately it's what we all wantIt would feel like a desperate attempt from the club to make themselves look a bit better and try and save their skins
No but you and the rest could have spoken out against how FFP was being introduced. Where was the support from the other clubs to get it out there that FFP was just a cartel protection racket? You and the rest just left us to it, because you wrongly assumed we would lose and this would never land at your doorstep.Mate what is it you wanted us to do when UEFA was looking at your books? Ask to have look too so we can form our own decision? They were legal contracts.
That information was confidential and between you and UEFA. We would have no knowledge on the case and we cant oppose or defend you when we dont know what was involved.
But when it was put to clubs that you should be banned we said no. Honestly dont think there was more we could do to support in that instance
yeh just googled 'city to pull out of ESL' certainly gathering paceStrong rumours emanating that us and Chelsea are going to pull out. Get it done and pull out City.
"Aston Villa"It'll be interesting to see what Pep says today, although I doubt it won't be much.
Absolutely. City can't ignore the backlash from their own supporters. Let's face it we don't have as many global fans as LFC and MUFC and a totally different business model based on community partnerships across the world. We can't afford to put all that at risk. City and Chelsea (for different reasons) have a lot more to lose from this if it goes tits up. We don't have 100 million overseas fans who will buy up digital subscriptions to watch our games.City can be excused for being highly mistrustful of UEFA and their motives but they simply cannot be excused for ignoring the opinions of the vast majority of not only their own supporters but fans of football full stop.
It's all coming out...
