You don’t make your best player train alone for two days after he misses a vital must win league game, all for shits and giggles expecting Pep to throw the game when he then starts. That’s just never going to be a thing.

He’s obviously not at 100% but I still think he will play.

They'll have to have another spell like the first half last week but if we can hold them scoreless or even to 1 goal we should have easy possession and pick them apart again. Their defensive shape never looked quite right in the second half and I was surprised by how disorganised their press was, they committed high three or four times but left an easy pass for Ederson to Gundogan/Rodri. Nilmar and Mbappe didn't know how to help their mates with defending, might actually benefit us to have a half fit Mbappe starting, like Pochettino gambling on Kane in the final that backfired.
