But they had two goals chalked off by VAR, one being pretty tight. I think 1-2 flattered us.

that second string XI that we’ve seen recently against Fulham away, palace last week and today is very lopsided
Too many attackers on, most of which are not in good form
Rodri did his chances of starting the final no good at all today

Less of a foul is foul which means its a penalty. If there is a contact in the penalty box which there clearly was then its a penalty. Did you think neither of them were a penalties?

Could have been so much easier though. Win the game then put your feet up and watch Chelsea play flat out to get a champs league spot - barring winning it of course.....

Sorry I disagree. We could have done all the things you said after this game and won the title with a near full strength team. In my humble opinion when you play a game to win the title then that must always be the priority. Peps tinkering changing tactics and 9 players has achieved fuck all because we may have to field a full strength side for Newcastle and possibly the next 2 games after.
It smacks of arrogance to me.
 
Don’t usually get so annoyed but I’m actually disgusted with that effort today. Had disaster written all over it from the start.
Really was an opportunity wasted as I don’t think Chelsea were that brilliant to be honest.
They didn’t have to be.

I don’t buy all of this talk of Pep resting players not to give anything away.

As if Tuchel isn’t going to be aware of how we play. He’ll be studying the PSG, Dortmund and all other games we’ve played with a false 9.

After the FA cup game, today was about sending them a message and winning the PL. Now Chelsea will have a lot of confidence going into the final and questions will rightly be asked if they have our number.
