Watch Sevilla Sunday they have a very underatted striker Youssef en Nesyri. Been watching Sevilla this season on la liga TV this guys quality. Scored a brilliant composed goal again this week against Levante 23 years of age 17 goals this season. Looks a really good player

Agüero was cheaper than Fernando Torres and the same price as Andy Carroll.There‘s probably a reason for that. Like everything in life you get the quality you pay for. We need better than ‘cheaper than Danny Ings’.
Ruben Dias and Virgil van Dijk both cost less than Harry Maguire.
Ederson was half the price of Kepa or Thibaut Courtois.
de Bruyne was half the price of Coutinho.
Gündogan was less than half the price of Fred.
You don't always get what you pay for.

I agree with that. I'm yet to be convinced that we'll sign a recognized striker in the window, though were we to crash out of the CL on Tuesday, particularly as the result of missing chances on the night, then I could be swayed.

I thought at point even though I don’t like him it would be Nunez from benfica because of the fee involved but tbh I haven’t got a clue .one thing I do know is we will not go anywhere near £100 million .

Except AFCON is a summer tournament from now on.Problem is he is african. So we will lose him in January due to african nations cup.
Edit: Looks like the next one 2022 did get moved back to January, however.

Yeah, looks like several factors had them changing the calendar for what was originally the 2021 tournament. It did sound like they were working on making the change to summer permanent. It has always been a contentious thing between European clubs and the African association.Think it depends which part of Africa it held in.

Alot on here including myself said for months this lad is not a wide man, He is a front man. Every goal he scores are types of centre forward goals.
I think we should out the cheque book away for a striker and bed in Ferran. His first season in England for a young man in this side he has been immense (In a centre forward position)...
Personally I would be more than happy if we played him as out front man next season, This kid is only going to get better.
