Why? Like the rest, he has no idea, just makes up a story and convinces himself he's right, the same as people do on here.If Romano is pushing it then our interest must be serious.
It's a little bit frustrating that it's going to play out ahead of the CL final and hopefully it won't distract any of the current squad.

True, he's clearly a very good footballer and you'd imagine he'd adapt, but, to me anyway, Pep has always seemed to prefer more athletic CFs and I think someone like Lautaro Martinez would be a better fit (although I'm not convinced he's anywhere near as good as Kane - I just mean the style of player). The same could be said of Sergio when Pep joined, with Sergio a similar age to Kane’s now, but Pep got Sergio to reinvent himself and be the player Pep wanted, closing down, running for the team and putting the team first. I think Kane is more of that style player than Sergio was, and could adapt to how Pep wants him to play
dont talk shit. He would lose huge money if he did that.Well Kane mustn’t be that serious if hasn’t put in a transfer request
Griezmann is 30 and on £800k a weekTrue, he's clearly a very good footballer and you'd imagine he'd adapt, but, to me anyway, Pep has always seemed to prefer more athletic CFs and I think someone like Lautaro Martinez would be a better fit (although I'm not convinced he's anywhere near as good as Kane - I just mean the style of player).
I still think Haaland is the top choice, but it looks like he's staying in Dortmund for another year.
Other than him, I'm not sure who's both available and at the calibre we need. Maybe someone like Greizeman could be signed on the cheap after his poor spell at Barca?
Fuck me.......does he get a pay rise every week?Griezmann is 30 and on £800k a week
What do we all think is a realistic transfer fee for Kane? I can see the club going to £90m absolute maximum. £150m being quoted is just an insane figure, definitely not justifiable.
I think Kane couldn't have picked a worse time to want a transfer. These gentlemans agreements between players and chairman either don't exist, or do exist but are rarely honoured. Levy will want a value that in any normal year would make most clubs eyes water, but this year, of all years it will surely prove prohibitive to all potential buyers. I don't see us dropping £100m+, I think it would take a player going the other way to give this real legs. What do we all think is a realistic transfer fee for Kane? Sane never did either, yet hes at Bayern
I honestly can't see it happening (with any club) for any less than 100m up front plus 20-30m in addons. Even that is bare minimum after months of haggling and media wrangling. Probably 120m plus addons as a realistic.
Circa £70m + someone like Ake or Cancelo - even though he’s shown he can be the best full-back in the league when in-form/in the mood. What do we all think is a realistic transfer fee for Kane? Levy will take the money, he always does. Spurs is bad financial shape too to boot.I agree and the issue that raises is that Haaland is 7 years younger and likely just as effective, with a potentially higher ceiling. At £120m Dortmund would probably talk. If not, they'd be tempted. Why not go to £150m for a 7 year younger model? There's just no way Levy can position it as good value if Haaland is on the market, and he's a notoriously hard headed negotiator, so I don't see it happening. For Levy, driving all comers away and keeping an unhappy Kane is the best outcome.
