Harry Kane

The offer: Forward Gabriel Jesus, centre-back Aymeric Laporte, one young prospect (perhaps either forward Liam Delap, midfielder Adrian Bernabe or winger/wing-back Luke Bolton) and between £15m and £25m

So they would have to pay us circa 100mill not us giving them 25mill where do they dream it up from absolutely absurd!

Kane has a contract till 2025 (I think)....Levy is under no pressure to sell whatsoever unless Kane publicly hands in a transfer request....so far all he has said is that he doesnt want regrets and wants to win trophies by the end of his carrer, as well as eulogising about KDB....now obvioulsy this could be seen as a huge hint that he wants to come to us and probably is....but it could also be a way of putting public pressure on Levy to get the best manager possible in and fork out big time in the transfer market to make spurs into a team that will at least compete.

However there is also talk about this gentlemen's agreement between Kane and Levy (though how this can be anything other than speculation at this point I dont know) There is also the probability that Levy needs to raise funds to rebuild and to service some of the debt they are in which may pressure him to sell.

Personally I dont want Kane...Id rather have Haaland (who again may not be let go by Dortmund ).......and for me getting Kane means we box ourselves off for potentially getting Haaland if we do buy Kane. For me Haaland has more longevity, there are no injury concerns, he is more adaptable and can play across the front line....is more powerful and quicke than Kane as well and looks more up fora fight/battle than Kane as well. Plus ( and this is only personal and i get that its in no way relevant at all really) but there is something thoroughly unlikeable for me about Kane.

Hey up mate. Hope you are well bud.

If Haaland isn’t on the move this season, would you rather we signed Kane or went without a striker for another season in the hope that Haaland chooses us when his buy out kicks in?

I doubt any deal involving Kane will include a player going the other way. Transfers like the Cancelo/ Danilo one are rare enough as it is but I'd also guess that Spurs would prefer to have the cash.

I certainly don't expect us to send away our only other senior striker. That would be pretty ridiculous unless we have Kane and another lined up. Delap isn't ready for that role.

By far the most American thing I have seen.

Implying that we can just throw them players, the way American sports teams do, and that wouldn't be all that complex.

Difficult as you dont know if Haaland would even work out int he future....to be honest Id rathe be searching ffor other quicker more mobile forwards than having kane....someone who can play across the front line rather than the classic no.10 striker which kane is......someone like Jesus or sterling but with much better finishing would be perfect...I know people rate Torres but I think we need to see more of him

But yeah id rather wait for Haaland than take Kane if it came to it

I dount there is any truth in this but if there was then there is no way we should be anywhere near it...he aint worth that
