A lot of City fans would be extremely upset if Bernardo was sold. The strange thing about our squad is it's very balanced and strong but obvious refresh needed in places needed.
Garcia and Sergio are gone. Guessing who else leaves is a headache. There's also that decision that sits with manager and board, as to which assets could be sold now to fund a better purchase. Risk is involved there.
Untouchables in my mind are Ederson, Dias, Walker, Cancelo, Stones, De Bruyne, Gundogan, Rodri, Mahrez, Foden, Sterling, Jesus.
Mendy and Ake leap out as names that should probably go.
Highest value sales, are probably Zinchenko, Bernardo and maybe Laporte (not looked at contracts at this point).
Goalkeepers
Ederson
Zack Steffen
Defenders
Ruben Dias
Kyle Walker,
John Stones
Joao Cancelo

Ilkay Gundogan,
Rodri
Bernardo Silva,
Fernandinho
Forwards:

Raheem Sterling.
Ferran Torres

I didn’t realise he’d cost that much... you'd think we'd break our transfer record for kounde to be 3rd choice CB?
If you say that Grealish, Kane and one other will sign on Monday if we win tomorrow or post a defcon 1 pic your like count will go through the roof
Let himself down with recent quotes if trueNot if his quotes are anything to go by he doesnt.
I’m not sure many blues want him out.Anybody wanting Ake fucked off after one season of injury is fukin mad there is a fantastic player in there.

Varane to the rags and him to Madrid utd helping us sign kane and grealishReal Madrid want him.
mate we were in for him last summer and they demanded 75m which we refused to pay - he's had a great season and now part of the french NT - why would his price go down?I didn’t realise he’d cost that much.
JFE it is then.
Really don't know mate and that's being honest but I think Ake' is made for this squadI’m not sure many blues want him out.
Let me ask you the question the other way around. If you had to sell one of our senior centre backs, who would it be?
I don’t disagree, but he’s the least bedded in and easiest to move on.I

If Laporte wants out saves a lot of heartache but give Ake time he will be fantastic for us he has had a rough start I can't put my finger on it but he looks a natural in our sky blueI don’t disagree, but he’s the least bedded in and easiest to move on.
If Laporte wants out, then this changes.
Still adamant it’s happening.I think your man might know when Kane arrives before I do ;)
The owners so Silver Lake, Chinese investment & of course Shiek Mansour so yes CFG which City is part ofMoney from CFG ?
I don’t recall the fee being that high but yes, you’re right, his “ceiling” has risen since last summer.mate we were in for him last summer and they demanded 75m which we refused to pay - he's had a great season and now part of the french NT - why would his price go down?
I will also throw 2 players we could use to play in there if required Rodri & Walker & we already have Fernandinio if desperateAmen. Perhaps we're also getting a possible insight into his character/mentality, why Deschamps, seemingly had an issue selecting him?
If anything, the team has shown for nigh on two seasons that life has gone on without as a reliable mainstay? As you rightly state, he was in possession of the shirt at the start of the season but a right-sided defender in Dias can actually do his job far better.
Stones has stepped up to the plate when the transfer planning seemed to suggest Dias and Laporte would be the centre-back partnership for the seasons to come, with Ake bought to play back up to Laporte.
Stones would have been told this summer in light of his contract entering his final year, yet his form has called for otherwise.
If anything, harsh as it would be, Ake, would be the easier sale to dispose of right now?
Unless Laporte and the disrespectful timing of these quotes, suggests he is now forcing the issue to leave.
Cant see why Ake 8s being dist, the guy is a top player unfortunately he came to City nowhere near fit enough, training at Bournemouth is fuckall like doing Pep training especially off the ballAke's mare at Newcastle raises questions and the others aren't there. Laporte is a first choice CB in any other team and it takes one injury to Dias to be back at square one.
Exactly what I was trying to say when I posted CFGPeople are forgetting the bonuses the club will land from our own stable of sponsors for winning the Champions League.
It's sizeable.

Doesn’t play in it anyway. *que laugh track*arent they getting banned from the champions league still?
