Agreed with luck part. There was no way we were winning this title with no striker and poor finishing. We punched above our weight and pulled through PL, next sesosn without striker we are going nowhere

just why, you had one fucking job to stick to the winning team, but fucked us again with your experiments

Yes. Pep did almost everything well. No question that.

the problem is he did the overthinking again and produced the bad performance from whole team.
 
A blunder today... he's still the best manager in the world and an absolute genius, but I wonder why the technical staff doesn't tell Pep that he is overthinking. What's the point of having a big staff if they ar never gonna tell him he tends to overthink in the big games, and that for once just let it be and see what happens. FRUSTRATING.

He changed one player. Personally, I do not think that change made any difference at all but we will never really know.
 
he had to fix his line up mistakes with the subs. I think tuchel and Chelsea wont believe how lucky they were due to Pep.

to take Fernandinho or even Rodri off meaning no screening front of defence that was a low shot for their confidence and not something we ever played this season did we?

Also putting gundogan there he was uncomfortable as hell, he cannot make spot on tackles to save his life.

Worst was this also meant we lose all the great things about Gundo which was arriving around/into the box and scoring/creating/setting up crosses, goals etc.
He was way too deep for that.

Man vs man they completely controlled us, Kevin was in the pocket of Kante same with their wingbacks vs our wingers.

We found no space on the box, theri back three was blocking, heading out, cut off nearly everything.

Mendy faced no serious shot on target in 100 mins of football.
No matter what it is clear tuchel did much better tactical preparation than Pep.

If Werner is not a joker he could have finished two chances early first half. based on chances it was always much closer to 2-0 than 1-1. Pulisic big miss too in second half.

I honestly did not expect a tactical masterclass like this from Tuchel. Knew it will be a close game as hell but not in a way we dont test their keeper and look lost a lot of time not knowing how to create or react to counterattacks which we easily could have expected from them.

Put Gundo deep raising the pressure on defence not having the usual help from a DM and taking away gundo's skills and form of arriving to the box. What was the point of that?
Look at Kante bossing the game, imagine Tuchel benching him tonight nd put Havertz there to play deep. Suicide move for sure.
 
Why change what got us there?!?! WHY JUST WHY, just stick with what's been working for once man

We didn’t fucking turn up for a champions league final. We got to a final playing 4-3-3 with a false 9. We then change that for the final and lose. What happened against Lyon? What happened against Liverpool? Or Spurs or Monaco. Same fucking shit

Yep they are good, not absolutely brilliant though. I thought you were too slow and passive on the ball too, lots of sideways passing.

Fair enough he got it wrong to start, but why did Sterling stay on. Not only was ne not getting anything out of James, he gave away silly possession a few times too letting Chelsea break.

Foden may not have his pace but is so much more skillfull and can go either way. Sterling is predictable

It's not simply a question of buying a striker. The moment you play with a main striker, be it Kane or Haaland, you make the pitch longer and less condensed than we have become accustomed to this season. That in turn puts pressure on the midfield who have to run farther up and down the park, and currently, we have a plethora of midfielders (de Bruyne, Gundogan, Silva, Rodri)who are not adept at doing that.
