But that was more down to numerous other players failing to turn up, alas. One of the better players tonight - not very good, but he's not the reason we lost.

I don't disagree with any of that as a summary of his season but nobody was given the platform to perform tonight. they were all handicapped severely by the terrible shape and instructions they were given you just can't blame anybody other than Pep for this.Pep fucked us but Sterling gave the most Sterling of Sterling performances he could give.
Fall over all the time - check
Lose possession for fun - check
Run into the full back - check
Bullied by full back - check
Great movement - check
Shite touch - check
I was praying he would just prove us wrong, just once in a CL final. Do something different. Don’t be everything that’s been thrown at him all season. Nope, just turned up and did the exact same as pretty much every week this season. Not remotely good enough.

* Borderline criminal offence *Still can't believe Pep played him in the biggest game in club's history, that's borderline criminal offence sorry.
Doesn’t look good enoughSell him, just doesn't look interested.
Foden is hardly slow ffs, in fact he’s actually very quick (and getting quicker), better dribbling, better passer. Was exactly what we needed on the Left tonight.its not happening for him at the moment, i understand pep wanted pace to play balls behind chelseas defense but yeah..didnt work
Spot on.I don't disagree with any of that as a summary of his season but nobody was given the platform to perform tonight. they were all handicapped severely by the terrible shape and instructions they were given you just can't blame anybody other than Pep for this.
He actually wasn’t that bad. But that’s not the point. We’ve been playing brilliantly without him, there was no reason for him to be playing tonight. He doesn’t offer a goal threat or doesn’t come up with a moment of genius. He’s just a good system player when the system suits him.Would love to know what people thought Kevin or Mahrez did better tonight.
Probably our best attacking player, that's how low the standards were tonight.
He was a lot better than both KDB and Mahrez tonight, which just about says it all.Would love to know what people thought Kevin or Mahrez did better tonight.

Spot on.
I guess the anger at Sterling is more based on the fact he did nothing, yet again, to prove his critics wrong.Hes just so lightweight.
Absolutely agree, but it's not their threads getting bumped. But that was more down to numerous other players failing to turn up, alas.
Well off I shall go to bump…Absolutely agree, but it's not their threads getting bumped.
You'll be up late to get through them all ;-)Well off I shall go to bump…
Other than his average technical ability, his game is just so poncey, when we need bollocks he isn't the man.Whar the fuck is that constant going down in all fours all about? The chance in the first half sums him up. Makes the right run and gets into the correct position but takes a wank first touch and loses the chance.
That chance was by no means a great chance but the great players take and make the most of them.
I like the lad and he’s a useful squad player but he’s not an elite player. In fact, if ever a player was suited to Arsenal, it’s Sterling.
