For all of those wanting rid of sterling, £300k per week + £50 million (and then some) signing on fee suggests he isn’t going anywhere!
Bargain, if he could tie his own shoe laces he might be quite expensive

I wish I was wrong. Raheem is a shadow of they player he was. Its actually sad to see.You my friend, are not wrong. Ahhhhh FUCCCCCCCCCK!!!!!
The players we need to get rid of are- gundogun rodri cancelo Mendy Garcia. For all of those wanting rid of sterling, £300k per week + £50 million (and then some) signing on fee suggests he isn’t going anywhere!
Blah fucking blah. Well I hope you include yourself in that statement Your job was to set up a team that will allow these incredibly talented players to express themselves. By Selecting sterling and a no natural DM handed Chelsea the confidence that they could win this. Why the fuck didn’t you play the team that beat Dortmund and PSG. Trying to be clever because they’re an English team."We did our best but it was not our night".
Don't tell us we were "exceptional" when we were anything but. We are not fucking idiots Pep.
That's all he has ever been, remember Barca at home a few years ago. He's a proper football player, but a dm he is not.Gundo was not bought as a defensive midfielder, that just bollocks DM was always Ferny's job.
At Dortmund he was very much a playmaker
It nearly worked . Lahoz is an awful ref I'll give you that but we didn't have the cunning to get round a defensive Chelsea side tonight and that's the big issue .I'll explain it to you.
We have gone out of the Champions League three times due to the referee we had tonight making the wrong decisions against us.
This referee has a long history of being against Pep Guardiola and against Manchester City.
Pep looked at this and realised every tackle, every bit of pressure will result in a free kick against us (at best).
With this in mind Pep decided to pick a team that were better at keeping possession rather than winning it back as that was the least likely to result in freekicks, penaltys, red cards against us.
He decided that due to the above it was sensible to pick Sterling rather than Fernandinho as that minimises the risks of red cards but allows Sterling's pace to keep James pinned back, thus negating one of their biggest threats.
Foden and De Bruyne were then allowed to roam up front in the hopes that this would then pull their back 5 out of position a little allowing us to exploit the space somewhat.
Hope this helps.
I think we never established any lasting control over the match and were fortunate that Werner is such a poor finisher. Chelsea's midfield was very dynamic and their defence very strong. Sterling did not provide the threat Pep hoped for thanks to a strong performance from James and our other main threats were muted. We might have equalised a couple of times but Chelsea got some great last second blocks in. On balance the better team won and, apart from Rudiger's shithouse challenge, the game was free of controversy.Lots about Chelsea and banning of posters. Can we have your take on the game, genuinely interested.
So the one selection error did for us? Shite, we lost because we were crap tonight, od of played rodri, but foden, kev, gundogan, Stones, zinchenko, all being wank wouldn't of helped him much. What a load of shite!
We’ve gone out tonight because tinkermen has overlooked what has got him to the final in the first fucking place.
Ederson
Walker
Dias
Stones
Zinchenko
Dinho
Gundo
Bernado
Mahrez
De Bruyne
Foden
it’s not fucking science!
Pep out thought himself again in the CL, some people on here don't believe he does that though, and they are deluded. Every game either Rodri or Fern start, but not tonight, a very strange decision. Chelsea were easily the most dangerous team, and could have scored a couple more. Everyone knows how Chelsea play 3 at the back, 2 defensive mids, and we play 2 inverted wingers and condense everything into the middle playing to Chelsea's strength, not great tactically.
Because he moved him backwards to play DM when he has been great further upfield.Wish he'd picked fern but in place of Gundogun'. At least sterling threatened. Gundogun was just a passenger
Playmaker? I don't see him making any plays. How many assists has he got. All his passes seem to be sideways or backwardsThat's all he has ever been, remember Barca at home a few years ago. He's a proper football player, but a dm he is not.
I'm just still trying to wrap my head around not playing a defensive midfielder. Rodri or Fernandinho, ome or the other, fine, if we still lost people would be saying you should have played the other. But that was the team. It's not Sterling's fault, if anything he was one of our better players at the front, but to sacrafice that control.
Its true and my comments before tonight say I'm in the same boat as you, but Raheem don't pick the team and he was ok first half tonight so lets not play the blame game with him. Kevin was fucking invisible, Mahrez was Mahrez of every game apart from 15 in his City career. The players were shit. but the manager set them up to fail.I wish I was wrong. Raheem is a shadow of they player he was. Its actually sad to see.
I think Zinc is dross personally. Did fuck all going forward as per usual, and iffy defensively as per usual. Not to mention being at fault for the goal. Tripe, basically. At this stage, I don't understand why he doesn't put the best team out and if we lose no one is going to blame him. The only two positions up for debate were Zinc and Cancelo and Rodri and Fern and honestly even then I think most fans knew their faves.
