We need a play maker, a defensive midfielder in the Kante/Fern mould and a striker.

Bizarrely, this is probably a good result for next season. It means the players will be determined.

Let's be honest, we've had problems scoring goals all season. Maybe not compared to other teams, but compared to our previous teams. And nothing summed that up more than tonight against an admittedly very good defence. We created very little in all honesty despite dominating possession.

I mean 7 or 8 defensive players beat us . Do we realise that ? We couldn't score against them . Messi could on his day . He is possibly one player who could have provided the breakthrough against that Chelsea defense tonight along with Phil nearly did it . Striker Kane up top could hold it up maybe and lay it off ? We score first and they have to change they tactics. Do we know that ? Yes we do but it didnt come . The unthinkable happened .
