Seasoncard - 2021/22

I assume the guarantee of keeping your seat is keeping the same seat not a seat. Which I get as the relocatipn window might not block our individual seats. Maybe it should but that would be my guess at the wording.
It does mean what you suggest, but if you go in a group and defer you could be split around the stadium when you come back, same if one defers in a good level 1 or 2 seat and only gets the option of 3rd tier.

Also it could be a more expensive seat you are offered, and it is out of the question to take the gamble for most people.

Looks like my only option is to renew and leave another empty seat, these fukin wankers haven’t a clue. In the grand design of things it’s not a lot when you consider I spent more on 3 PCRs and two £154 tickets not to mention flights and hotels last week. Best bet would be for City Matters to resign stating we don’t matter and they whoever the fuck “they” are don’t listen don’t give a fuck

Renewal process dead easy, just needed to enter new card details. Credit automatically deducted at check out. Confirmation email received.
Just a case of how the access to the stadium works.

Will renew under duress instead of deferring despite recent health issues.

Deferring would be ideal whilst recuperating.

Cannot take the chance financially to be charged 50% plus for a different seat in a different stand next season.

Been attending matches home & away over 50 years. Season ticket holder for most of those.

Beginning to feel like this is not our City.

@Prestwich_Blue apologies if I’ve missed this but do you know what’s happening with points this season? I’ve renewed and seem to remember points being added immediately upon renewal in the past but nothing this time round? Cheers

Renewed my seasoncard fine, input my sort-code & account number and all completed!
Now updating my new credit card details for cup schemes on the other hand....takes me to a black screen which does nothing!

Give us a chance to get some clarity before you do anything. As I said, this could be just a very clumsy way of saying that there may be circumstances where they'd have to move you next season even if you had renewed, as they've done for the people moved for the new advertising boards or the new hospitality facility in the SW corner. That could well be what thy meant but they really could have made that clear, if so.

Whilst I am against the not allowing ST deferrals to retain their usual seat for 22/23 in principle

I cannot see the logic as

its likely to impact a small minority
[ii] its already enraged the City Matters Reps with threats to resign from the commitee
[iii] its given visibility to all fans that a subject/issue the City Matters Reps wanted has been declined
[iv] In real life this will impact others, eg those sat around the ST holders who decide to not renew due to this and
[v] only results in more single seats between ST regulars. Singles the club dont like as harder to sell game by game?

Has anyone had monies owed from 2019-20 season taken off at checkout when renewing? Cant see the £80 plus I’m owed being taken off the renewal price.

I've no idea and, to be honest, it's not at the top of my City Matters to-do list at the moment.
