Seasoncard - 2021/22

It might come as a shock to City, that not everyone uses their website regularly, it's been shite since WIX took it over.
Totally agree about the website being rubbish. In the 'old' days I used to pop on every day, now I only look when they send me an email telling me I can win a signed shirt... mercenary that I am. Not that I have ever won anything but that's life.

I couldn't see anything, they are assuming 100% attendance.'

Better going on the 10 months DD if you don't want to pay now, I am assuming credits on a pro-rata match by match basis for games that can't be attended due to lack of capacity, as they are already set up for that through the ticket exchange.
Thanks already on the dd scheme so I’m hoping it just renews. My old man just old skool & wants to know how he gets his cash back! Lol

no way on this planet are all fans back in the stadium come September.

They've made it pretty much a non-option to defer in those circumstances. You can defer but you'll lose your place in the ticket points list and you'll lose your seat. Two major no goes for the majority considering it.

Would have been happy to defer and allow others the chance to attend whilst it's reduced capacity if those two issues were unaffected, not anymore. Will renew and have an empty seat

The decision to stick with the platinum scheme is piss poor. Did City matters not bring this issue up or do the club just not give a fuck? Very Spursy move and that's happened a few times recently.
We've brought Platinum up many times and they say it's a revenue stream so won't drop it (brings in little more than £0.5m which is 0.1% of total revenue).

We've suggested they convert it to something that brings some other, non-points based benefits. Failing that, then we've suggested it should be priced a lot higher if you want to get double points.

As for not guaranteeing your seats if you defer, we're absolutely furious about this. It's not what we were led to believe and we were definitely never told that might be the case.

We're hoping that it's just a warning that there's a small chance you might not be guaranteed the seat, if it's needed for something else and you and the people around you need to be moved for some reason. I'd understand that but if it's a general thing that they can sell your seat to a new or moving season card holder in this window, then I've already made it clear that that's me done with City Matters.

Sure this will have been said, but this is my first time logging on today, but why the fuck haven't we been emailed to tell us the season tickets renewals have started? I wouldn’t know if it wasn’t for this place.

Pathetic.
Well you got a letter two weeks ago, it was cryptic clue despite saying nothing, but they should have noticed your name was not Claire Voyant.

Do we know what the options are if we can’t attend games due to covid ? Ie restrictions at games etc

old man doesn’t want to pay & not be allowed to go. I guess it’s a full refund etc. I just can’t see anything
Think I saw on the site the other day that any games cancelled/postponed by the government will be refunded.

Can't find the actual link/page anymore because they've updated them all this morning, but imagine Supporter Services will give you confirmation.

What an absolute shitshow 1h to get hold of someone to change my direct debit details only problem is hes working from home and has not got the facilities to do the change. So he says I will pop you through to office great you are 107 in the queue. Not even bothering again I will try and change just before first payment if they say it's to late then fine I just don't go an absoulte shambles.

I have with no previous problems but just to be sure I’ve just renewed online.
I’ll be posting again in a months time moaning like fuck they’ve charged me twice.
yeah think I will too, also wondering what the score next season being as when I can't go due to work my son goes, not sure that is going to be easy next season

City are using the "no guarantee of keeping your seat" if you defer to "force" people under duress to renew rather than defer.

This isnt the City thats there for our fans, its not the City thst apologised after the ESL debacle saying it needs to listen
to the fans or via City Matters reps as its plainly not the case as Prestwich Blue has eluded too with his withdrawal from
City Matters if this hard line isn't rescinded.

Just renewed. Thought about deferring but didn't want to lose my seat. Otherwise the process was pretty straightforward for me without any problems.

@Prestwich_Blue Colin this was posted on FB by one of your City Matters colleagues.

The Club have just posted details of season card renewals… Myself and colleagues on the City Matters committee pushed very hard for a scheme where fans could defer their season ticket for one season. This was to help anybody who might have lost their job or income during the pandemic and needed a breather. A key element of what we agreed was that that a fan could get their old season ticket back in the same seat next August.
City have reneged on this and are now saying your old seat cannot be guaranteed, I am incandescent! Our committee are urgently trying to contact the club to change this. I will keep you all posted.
I'm not great at Twitter but if you could all bombard City with your opinion on this matter I would be really grateful. Is it best that we all do it at the same time for maximum impact? Advice please

Is this the case and do you think it is likely they may change their mind? My friend was all for deferring but even though he doesn't want to go right now feels like he will have to renew to retain his seat.
Fuckin wankers…don’t give a fuck, I have to defer sat next to my son who is renewing he’s 25 sat next to me for 20 years and now this sick excuse of a club want to fuck that up

I assume the guarantee of keeping your seat is keeping the same seat not a seat. Which I get as the relocatipn window might not block our individual seats. Maybe it should but that would be my guess at the wording.

I’m sure I read on the City website that there will be other options, as many have already posted not everyone has a smartphone so it just doesn’t make sense to try and make everyone to go ‘ticketless’.
