Harry Kane

No one has answered my genuine question would Lukaku or Haaland have done any better today than Kane in this team. Please explain if you think they would
Lukaku would imo.

He wouldn't have spent the whole match trying to be a number 10.

He would have given us a focal point and, and may well have actually had a shot in the game.

Also he wouldn't have given the ball away as often and probably would have made a bit more of some of England's long punts forward.

He's also probably better suited to playing in the heat and he has more pace to try and get in behind.

For me from the little I have seen of Haaland I think he would have done better than the other two. For me he has the ability and pace to open up the game and is just as good a finisher. If we are going to spend big money there is only 1 guy worth the money and that is Haaland. Just my opinion

Kane looked really uncomfortable playing in that heat. I thought it was scandalous that there was no water break in that first half. Doesn't Kane struggle to score goals for Spurs in August ? I hope we don't value him anywhere near 150 million.
Let's sign him in September then.

Possibly.
For me Haaland is the best to target but I am just wary to talk about him internationally, as his international form for Norway has been nothing short of woeful.

It is one thing wanti g Harry Kane, another thing entirely if you believe Kane is a better option than Haaland.
Single games ARE irrelevant in the greater scheme of things.
I would be watching his physical performances very carefully if I was about to spend north of 100 million for a striker who would be 28 before kicking a ball for us.
What he has done as a superb striker for Spurs does not guarantee anything.

In a city team under Pep he will just get better and better. He has more in his locker than the other 2 and he’s only 20. Pay once for Haaland or pay twice later down the road. £150 mill well spent, even the press would find it hard to have a go 6 months after being with city. Personally I think Kane is the fall back if we can’t get Haaland (him and the Dortmund execs are probably on holiday/looking for a replacement before it’s announced)

Told everyone weeks ago all you have to do is take off your Erling Haaland sunglasses off and look what’s unfolding right in front of your very eyes. Kane never said he wants to be announced at his new club before the euros he said he wanted his future sorted before then. And it clearly is all sorted.

Don’t mean to be rude but only a fool couldn’t tell that this was going to happen weeks ago.

cant wait to watch the best striker in world football play in this already top class team in his prime years.

Prematurely full of shit, as usual.

Have we signed him then, has he posed with tixi the pen and hd up the shirt? Has he fuck.

Jorginho was all sorted before he went on his holiday. Alves. Koulibaly nailed on. Sanchez too. You can't honestly think this is done at this stage, some groundwork maybe but the tough part is yet to start.

He may well end up here before the window shuts, and if the club wanted it, great. But to preach it is done is so daft. It will be months later and rejection after rejection and media claim after media claim before it happens, if it does. And possibly do the rounds to other targets before circling back.
