For someone who votes for the party of ''Border Control'' you dont seem to have any idea as to how ''Border Controls'' actually work (bit like Patel really) .

The Eu want to maintain the integrity of the single market and the quality / safety controls that have spent years setting up and agreeing between member nations (to protect the health of its citizens) .

They are not going to leave the backdoor open especially as the UK government are signing up to hormone injected meat and cereals doused in chemicals which they have banned in the Eu.

she has been on his show since blaming the application of the idea not the idea itself............she is one of those bellends that thinks you just do something unilaterally that affects other countries and they just have to agree so as far as she sees it we just tell the world all the waters and all the fish they contain are ours and the rest of them can fuck off

save it up - it will only take @ 10 months to be able to afford the quid to hire a shopping trolley at your local supermarket - sadly it will take you 3 years to have enough to buy a box of 3 Magnum ice creams from that supermarket though.
 
I can't find the bit about record salmon exports in Q1, but it seemed at odds with stuff like Norway shows the scale of salmon farmers’ Brexit problems | The Economist

It turns out that, largely because the consignments were in complete lorry loads (rather than the shellfish in smaller consignments that fell foul of the new regime for category B waters), Scottish farmed salmon was exported in record tonnage (though Brexit is partly blamed for a fall in prices so not a record in value).

Good read, nice to hear from people directly involved and detailing the real issues. £200k a month in Brexit costs is revenue that would be better utilised elsewhere.

Luckily, the UK Govt has established a task force to eliminate unnecessary red tape and administrative burden. I have forwarded this article to them as a good place to start.

Joining the European Single Market will eliminate £billions in red tape for UK industry and simplify the NI issue as well.

Lets hope that unlike the blinkered commissars of communism of the past, the UK Govt puts the economy above ideology.

PS It's not actually a deal yet it's just an 'agreement in broad terms' , so it's just another announcement about the same thing presumably to deflect attention away from the delay of freedom day by another four weeks and the disastrous G7 summit.

Watched a report the other day of an Australian farmer who basically said the deal was excellent for them and good for the UK as we’d still be able to get our expensive cuts for the those who could afford it.

She seemed very happy with the deal.
