We will probably generate £60-70m just by selling loan and CFG players without even touching our first team squad. Sane income in this year’s accounts along with a season and a half of CL money. We might sell a couple if they want to go to a club that can afford them but if so they will be directly replaced. We have a budget of course but we will also have set aside a wedge to replace Sergio.Based on the figures being quoted for the top strikers we will definitely need to sell a player or two.

What similar impacts, we don’t need a 35 year old center back, we had a very good defensive recordI think he could have a similar impact to Thiago Silva at Chelsea.
If we can sell Bernardo and Laporte to generate funds for a proper striker and sign him on a free I would be fine with that.
