Harry Kane

Haaland would stay three years then leave. He looks up to bludy CR7, he likes that Ronaldo played in different leagues at RB in a interview he said he wants to replicate what CR7 did. Whoever gets Haaland won't have him long 2 to 3 years max.
Maybe, but you will also get a huge fee, if he continues to develop as a top class player.

Levy can stop this in its tracks by just saying Kane ain’t going anywhere for any money he has 3 years left and he is staying! Bottom line Levy needs the cash Is make one last bid of 96m cash plus 14m in addons take it or we walk!

Think they not long had a loan from Bank Of England for £150m.
That ain't gonna get them much in today's market,so,yep,he needs the cash alright.

Out of interest, did you warm to Tevez and Bellamy once they had signed or did you always see them as cuckoos in the nest?

(I thought Bellamy was a prick but changed my opinion when he played for us.)
Bellamy and Tevez were beasts on the pitch. Always thought we had a chance of winning when they were playing.

Utter drivel.
Probably, Sterling and Jesus i could possibly believe, but the other 3 no chance, all for different reasons.

So we would gain a CF and lose a goal scoring winger (look at his record, not just last season!) and a forward who also has a decent goal scoring record and can play all across the front line.

Yup, makes a lot of sense to me (NOT!) .....

And there's always the issue of the possibility of Kane getting a bad injury in game 1 at Spurs and then we're back to where we are now but 5 players down. It really doesn't make any sense to go down the cash + multiple players route.

If we did end up selling a player to Spurs, I can see us offering a deal that helps Levy short term. Like, we get Kane, they get Sterling, headline fee £130m for Kane, £80m for Raheem.

We could structure it so we paid them something like 70m up front, 30m over three years - plus up to 30m in clauses like winning the CL.

And on their part, they pay 15-20m up front for Sterling, with the balance over the next three years.

The possibility of that sort of deal has to be very, very attractive to Levy.

Levy's dilemma is they're still looking for a manager and who's going to want to come if their best player has been sold? He will want a huge transfer kitty to offer the new manager so in a way he really holds all the cards on this one.

Levy just waiting to see if he gets a better offer,if an offer of £100m has gone in,if a bigger offer doesn't come in,he will eventually accept it,imo.

True but Levy is deluded. This is a man that sacked Pochettino and replaced him with Mourinho. To him, Spurs are a massive club that doesn't need to sell but the opposite is in fact true.
I have a pal who supports Spuds (he was manager of a very large Manchester City Center hotel) and absolutely they are deluded. Constantly goes on (and on and on!) about how big a club they are (with no supporting evidence!) and get this, pretty much debt free with only the stadium cost stopping them right now. When i tell him without Kane and Son, they are not even top 10 material, he goes off on (yet another) rant about how big they are.....
Deluded doesn't even begin to describe him!

The only player I would offer as well as cash for Kane is Sterling because for me he is too wasteful. Silva, Laporte, and Jesus no chance for me. Jesus if given ample game time will be a beast when he peaks.

Good point. I can see Jesus being Kanes partner in crime. They could bag tons of goals as a duo. The only thing Jesus lacks is Sons pace.

Prefer Haaland over Kane. Several over-the-top rumors have surfaced - such as one that suggests that we might want to sign both players for a total fee approaching 220M.

For me - it's all speculation and rumor. Kane wants to sign for us - and it seems that we want to sign him. Levy is in the way.

Haaland - not at all sure if he's going to transfer this year. But if he does, we'd be stupid not to pursue him. At the same time - I've seen little press that he is demanding a transfer and/or that he wants primarily to sign for us.

At this point - it's swirling rumors.

My take - neither player ends up signing for us - but this is pure speculation on my part. Feel free to quote this post if we end up signing either player :-)
