I love it when Khaldoon posts.

Really I thought it would be quite the opposite i.e getting the best asset sold to raise funds and to tell incoming manager he will have fundsLevy's dilemma is they're still looking for a manager and who's going to want to come if their best player has been sold? He will want a huge transfer kitty to offer the new manager so in a way he really holds all the cards on this one.
Being in a dilemma, and in desperate need of money - is usually not synonymous with 'holding the cards'. That's why this has played out this way so far. Spurs were getting in a mess. Now they're talking this up. They have pretty much blinked.Levy's dilemma is they're still looking for a manager and who's going to want to come if their best player has been sold? He will want a huge transfer kitty to offer the new manager so in a way he really holds all the cards on this one.
You forgot that we are throwing in the City of Manchester also as part of the deal. Still not enough for Levy as he will hold out for a pound Of fleshTalkshite were saying this morning £100m + Jesus + Sterling + Laporte!
Next, they will be saying we are including Pep as part of the deal too! FML.You forgot that we are throwing in the City of Manchester also as part of the deal. Still not enough for Levy as he will hold out for a pound Of flesh
How long will he wait and city wait till we move on?Levy just waiting to see if he gets a better offer,if an offer of £100m has gone in,if a bigger offer doesn't come in,he will eventually accept it,imo.
That's conservatively about £220M of a fee - can't see it myself..........
We should stick a 70 million offer forHow long will he wait and city wait till we move on?
Dunno mate, maybe Spuds have an eye on a couple of players at the Euros and Copa America, and are waiting to see if they come through unscathed? How long will he wait and city wait till we move on?
I don't think it will be long, not since the Napoli saga with Jorginho we seem to have wised up to it now. Offer a price demand a response if it's not promising and we are being pissed about move on fast and let someone else offer ridiculous money i.e. the rags. There is always Haaland next year for £70m if we can pay the ridiculous wages his agent will drive up....How long will he wait and city wait till we move on?
Nearer £300m lol
This just reminded me of Darren Farley's impressions of Rooney demanding his wages be doubled from £600k to £300kWoodward must be doing our negotiating…£150m? No deal, how about £300m.
Then the deal has to be watertight from when he signs, maybe that's the issue and the reason we seem to be out of contention.or with two years left on his contract he won’t sign an extension they’ll be a circus with his agent!

Can't compare to waiting fifteen minutes to hear the latest update on a possible deal for Terry Cooke.Phone in bait for the masses.
Apparently, when asked what number he would like he said "can I av da numba stick and circle"?This just reminded me of Darren Farley's impressions of Rooney demanding his wages be doubled from £600k to £300k
