City will only do it because they believe in his ability long term.If Sterling needs a new contract before he starts putting in any sorts of performances then he should be out the door. I am not surprised City are going to do it because ultimately they need to protect their investment.
I am just glad the club is able to protect its investment. Players can be affected by all sorts of stuff. The System changed, dropped for Foden, any off-field issues. New start next season if he has signed. I have been critical of his performances but sterling has earned the chance to turn it around due to his previous outstanding contribution to our trophy haul.If Sterling needs a new contract before he starts putting in any sorts of performances then he should be out the door. Don't know why we don't just go for Danny Ings.
And what makes you think that ? when Kane has been one of the best strikers in the world for years. Whether it hurts or not, that's the truth.
He’s going be the Sterling we love next season instead of this Chinese knock off version we seemed to have had this season?Encouraging news coming out next day or so on Sterling, depending on your point of view on him.
I’ll believe it when you post a video :-)Encouraging news coming out next day or so on Sterling, depending on your point of view on him.
Isak would be a €70 million gamble. I don’t know much about him, only what I’ve seen at the Euro’s. He could be anything. Are we even linked with him? What makes me think that is that Kane will be twice the price but not twice the player. I'm not saying Isak is better, but he's better value.

I want 'better', not value. What makes me think that is that Kane will be twice the price but not twice the player. I'm not saying Isak is better, but he's better value.
We're hoping to fill the place left by Sergio. To do that we need the best NOT the best value. What makes me think that is that Kane will be twice the price but not twice the player. I'm not saying Isak is better, but he's better value.
Piers Morgan has gone a shade of red hitherto undreamt ofGreat stuff, his gun tat is finished.
Thanks for that breaking news.

Depends on if the players form continues to free fall...I am not surprised City are going to do it because ultimately they need to protect their investment.
I said you buy one you get one free. What makes me think that is that Kane will be twice the price but not twice the player. I'm not saying Isak is better, but he's better value.
How do you replace Agüero? Kane, Haaland or Lukaku, for me, seem to be the only players good enough (not counting Mbappé or short-term fixes like Ronaldo or Lewandowski). There's a time and a place for value and I don't think this is it.

Face palm moment!Hopefully there is a club that is willing to break the bank for him.
