The coverage is what you’d expect. Do you think the coverage is any less on Italian tele? Do you think it would be any less on Irish tele if they were in the same position? Was it any less when the Olympic were here? We’ve just had 18 months of COVID being on everything every minute of every day for fuck’s sake.

There’s some weird attitudes in these England threads.
 
I know its been 55 years and there;s been lockdown etc. But the coverage on the BBC so far to day has been cringe worthy... presenters all plunging to Richard Madeley levels - talking utter shite... giddy nonsense. And dont get me started on Danny Fuckin' Mills - what a *****

At 21 , he will have plenty of big matches ahead , and hopefully a couple of Champs league final to settle a score , but agree he definitely would have made a difference even from the bench there a few better players who can retain the ball under pressure.

the coverage is more or less the same as it was 1996 when we only reached the semi ... not many would of been moaning about it back then.. perhaps some have just got older and have a bit of resentment to the young all buzzing and celebrating lately.

Italy has three daily sports papers which in reality only cover football or Ferrari and countless football only radio stations - way more intense out there

feel a bit sorry for Matteo at Wimbledon today as his story will be parked by the classifieds if Italy win tonight.

I'm leaving the tv off until just before KO, especially as the pundits will just do my head in as usual.

I see Pickford as a concern, he looked as if the occasion was getting to him against Denmark and the pressure and expectation will be a hundred times greater tonight. My gut feeling is this will go to penalties if both teams perform as they have up to now, there's not that much between them.

There just seems to be a growing minority who want to constantly run our country down. Others just think it’s cool to not support England and the rest well they are just miserable bastards imo.

Personally I’m very proud to be English, I think I am very fortunate to live in such a fantastic, safe and cosmopolitan country and cannot wait for the game tonight. Of course we have our fair share of idiots but name me another country that doesn’t.

I passionatly support England and will always do so whether it be football, cricket, rugby etc. For a relatively small nation we should celebrate our recent achievements whether it be winning the rugby World Cup in 2003 or the brilliant win against New Zealand in the cricket World Cup.

Just hope the boys can do it tonight mainly for my mum she doesn’t support a club side and is only interested in England she hasn’t slept last night as she is just too anxious!

Cmon England !
 
It’s on days like this where we stop and spare a thought for those less fortunate than ourselves…. Just 5 minutes of your time is all it takes to reach out to those who identify as #ScousenotEnglish … They need our help at this distressing time as I imagine that Anfield Road will be silent tonight while the inhabitants stay in and count their Champions League Honours… Try not to pity them

There are baffling attitudes, We’ve had the Scottish then the even more Welsh wankathons for this competition, now its our turn..
 
BREAKING NEWS:
UEFA just announced the Italian anthem will be fully repeated until no booing will be heard from English fans at Wembley.

If 10 repetitions will still not be successful the match will be abandoned and the official result shall be:
Italy 20 England -5.


Surely the rules how to behave in an international final will be explained in detail via tannoy pre match to the newcomers ;) and everything will be perfectly respectful.

I know what it means to you, best friend is a Manc and opened his football heart how he feels after decades of English pain. Be hopeful today to win this final and enjoy the ride,
and if England lose you'll get over it after a while, with a smile.
