Good comeback, again.

Just like you I am being honest. In regards to the national side I am down the middle on them. I don't hate them but they haven't been amazing as a team either. Nothing contrary about it. Southgate deserves credit for dropping Henderson before the tournament even began for his Penalty stunt in the Romania friendly.Good comeback, again.
As i said i was wrong about Southgate. He may not be the most adventurous but so what.Keegan,Hoddle and Sven had the so called golden generation and did nothing.Southgate has moulded his own team and if they win it.It wont say won it by being pragmatic.Just like Greece and Portugal it will say winners.Come on England!!
He is.
Championship standard manager at best who's dropped lucky with qualification and tournament draws. I won't begrudge him winning on Sunday. But it covers a lot of cracks.
This is because the clique culture has been irradicated, something else Southgate has done. Southgate the Championship standard manager that is. People just see his style of football. They don't see what he's doing in the background. This is the real golden generation. This team is better than any between 1996-2006. No other squad has the strength of depth that this one has got. What’s even more promising is how strong the academy’s look across England too. There’s certainly a few in the City academy which will no doubt be England internationals in a few years.
Hence my point, it’s a results business and if Muller scored and they went on to win that game and then this tournament they’d suddenly be rated. They have a squad full of Bayern players and 3 champions league winners. They controlled the game against France and demolished Portugal, they might not be what they were when they won the World Cup but they’re still a very good team.Ask a German where they currently think their team is at. Don't fall for the name. A lot of the normal big teams are having problems. It's just a fact not opinion.

It's openly known the squad in the late 90's up to 2015, say, had problems with cliques. Liverpool players sticking together, Neville and Co. the same. Chelsea etc. That is why that group never did anything. Southgate has stopped that. This group of players, coming through their academies and almost growing up together have a unit and bond which resembles club football.
I wouldn't put it past them to win this on Sunday, then win the WC next year. We've seen it happen with Spain, Germany and France - and low and behold it was with that same format of academy players growing up together. Hopefully now it's England's turn to have the last 10 years of background work bear it's fruit.
Spot on pal. There’s no ego’s in this team. You haven’t got bellends like Rooney or Terry, haven’t got Scholes who retired from international duty because he wasn’t getting played. You haven’t got Gerrard and Lampard who were getting shoehorned into the team despite every man and his dog saying they don’t fit.
This current team is full of winners and players that are out there to prove themselves. Foden and Grealish are the two most talented players in the squad yet they can’t cement a place in the team. That’s how good this England squad is at the minute.
What cracks will that be exactly. If England win on Sunday, which I believe they will as I forget about the goalkeeper, they will be Champions of Europe and the fixtures completed will be of little relevance. Moving forward the talent at the managers disposal is only going to improve in the short term and a good shot at the World Cup seems likely. Would GS be a success at a top English or European club I think maybe not but he has regardless of the result on Sunday done very well as England coach and deserves some credit. He is.

Bang on. Its actually easier to just say I was wrong than jump through the hoops they're doing.Tell you what mate, you can disagree with me all you like. You haven’t explained why you disagree with me, so to me you just come across as a bitter fucker. Let me guess, you don’t like Southgate as a manager and you’re sticking to your guns and not backing down over it. Any English football fan that can’t be excited over the first final for 55 years has got either a serious agenda or just a sad bastard.
But anyway, each to their own. I’ll be in the pub with my mates on Sunday, singing some songs and getting pissed. If we win, it will be biggest party for years. But for you, win or lose, you’ll be still be on here posting absolute fucking shite.
