What's the latest on this, has it been brushed under the carpet ?No that was Harry Maguire's Greek adventure
Appealed a 21 month suspended sentence. Appeal unlikely to be heard before 2022 because of backlog in Greek courts due to covid. If he loses, they could increase his sentence, but in all likelihood, it would still be suspended. What's the latest on this, has it been brushed under the carpet ?
I’ve just tried to log on and got this message.
Imagine this at the turnstile !

Blackmailed / indirectly forced into having the jab ... I shall be returning my season ticket and getting a refund if this comes aboutWhat's the latest on this, has it been brushed under the carpet ?
Why not...? It won't hurt you.I hope we don’t have to wear masks in the stands as well as proof of vaccination.
Luddites assemble!Ah, that's better. I'd really like a credit card sized piece that just slots into a wallet, just like an old style train ticket!
Yeah us too. I had first jab and had a weird reaction to it, possible blood clot, so I will not be having a second as not worth the risk IMO. Other half has never wanted a jab so like you will not be blackmailed into it. Just hope City will allow a refund otherwise that's over £1.2 down the drain.Blackmailed / indirectly forced into having the jab ... Bored of that discussion to be honest which isn’t relevant here but there is very little evidence these thin paper masks with holes at the side work. In fact most of the particles will actually go out the gaps sideways to the person sat next to you rather than absorb into the back of the head of the person in front. Why not...? It won't hurt you.
Even if you've been double-vaccinated, you can still carry and possibly transmit covid to others in the crowd, who could then pass it on to unvaccinated family members etc.
OK... It's a long shot, but if wearing a mask reduces the chance of transmission, what's the problem? It would only be for a short period.
Don’t think there would be any problem getting refund mate . The more that do it the quicker this bullying bullshit will fade awayYeah us too. Couldn’t care less as long as I get to go.I hope we don’t have to wear masks in the stands as well as proof of vaccination.
They were required at test events it’s just that some didn’t bother and it wasn’t enforced.Bored of that discussion to be honest which isn’t relevant here but there is very little evidence these thin paper masks with holes at the side work. 3 hours is not a short period. It’s a pain. Especially when it gets to November and it’s cold it will be in the way coming off etc…
it wasn’t required at “test” events so I don’t see why it should now.
Some? They were required at test events it’s just that some didn’t bother and it wasn’t enforced.
Agree, It got less and less as time went on and by the final very little we’re wearing them but they were going part of the rulesSome?
Didn’t see any at the euro final.
Well, you seem to be an expert on the matter, I'm sure that both City and the Government will happily sit up and follow your advice.Bored of that discussion to be honest which isn’t relevant here but there is very little evidence these thin paper masks with holes at the side work. 1. Bored of the discussion doesn’t mean proven wrong. Such arrogance. It’s a forum, opinions not right and wrong. Embrace debate sir.Well, you seem to be an expert on the matter, I'm sure that both City and the Government will happily sit up and follow your advice.
"Bored of that discussion" leads me to think that you've probably been proved wrong elsewhere on the subject...
If you're told to wear a mask at the match, just do it and stop bleating about it.
I am nearly sixty and could never ever understand or get my head around how hitler managed to get away with what he did planed on his own from a prison cell . I now completely understand how easy it was ... last comment as this is the season ticket thread after all not connected in anyway shape or form ... Hopefully see like minded people in our new City bar in Tenerife ( Beach Cabin Rife bar) in off topic now masks allowed inside and double jabed outside only1. 2. you appear to imply I don’t follow the rules. I do. I also have continued to adopt a mask in both indoor public settings where it is no longer mandatory that I have been since “freedom day”. I still don’t believe in them. I still think it’s wrong. I think it’s wrong to insist everyone gets the jab. I am double jabbed.
What slabheads suspended sentence?Blackmailed / indirectly forced into having the jab ... I shall be returning my season ticket and getting a refund if this comes about
I think deep sea diving helmets will be available from the shop as an alternative to masks.I hope we don’t have to wear masks in the stands as well as proof of vaccination.
…& the lead boots? ..like the ones Java Garcia used to wear :-)I think deep sea diving helmets will be available from the shop as an alternative to masks.
League Cup final was a test event and we had to wear masks. - Though that was earlier in the vaccine roll out. Some?
Didn’t see any at the euro final.
