That’s how I read it. It sounds like an either/or one off option. The print at home method seemed to suggest you opted for that choice at the beginning of the season and was what you were stuck with throughout rather than be an option game to game.
You know the rules?i dont understand all this business about seasoncards, i rang the club 2 weeks ago and they have sent me out a plastic card to use. No tin or scarf though which was a bit disappointing. But still, at least i wont have to faff around with my phone.

Providing the person you go with is listed as friends and family in your account, it’s no problem for him to have your season card in addition to his own on his phone. No idea about ID - I haven’t seen anything mentioned but I may have missed it.Well my phone doesn't have NFC on it but the person I go to the match with does. So he can basically load my season card onto his phone along with his own and swipe us both in. I take it that's correct. Has anyone heard anything about having to take ID too?
Yes both linked on friends and family list. So looks like I'm ok.Providing the person you go with is listed as friends and family in your account, it’s no problem for him to have your season card in addition to his own on his phone. How did you sign up for free membership? I’m looking to do the same for my wife but there doesn’t appear to be a free option. Please advise thxIve signed my wife up for free membership for this reason.for those odd occasions.its just another hoop to jump through for modern day football fan. It gets a bigger job the more people you want to give this option.going to football was once a time for the working man(edit he /she /it)to relax and let off a bit of steam with minimal planning . Unfortunately it's now becoming a paid for military exercise aimed primarily at the brand.personal searches/parking /mobile ticketing/mixed messaging/poor communications etc. For those rich young singletons who have plenty of freetime it can be easy to play "I'm the biggest city fan "but for many the more difficult they make attending a match then they risk ostracising city fans who have a myriad of other pressing commitments.it is difficult to argue against us witnessing citys best showings on the pitch of all time but some ways for me anyway tempered by the experience of the modern day match attender.guess we will soon find out.3 weeks and counting ctid

Thanks. Just called the club though and they started to explain everything which then became complicated. The guy then said I could have a physical card if I so wished. Just had to give him my supporter number, name, address and DOB. Not sure why they just couldn't have given people the option when they renewed of a digital or hard copy ticket.See page 377 on this thread. A fellow Bluemooner has posted a guide on how to do it.
