I think they got bought by Sky. Ever since they started collaborating their content went downhill so quickly.

Absolutely this is. All the way through the Euros it was bring Jack on. why isn't Jack starting? Jack is our best player. They don't know what to do. Apart from the obvious...City are ruining football, City cheats, FFP blah blah blah. What's that saying... watch it, drink it in!

This is the moment the penny finally dropped and harsh reality set in. It is the same for every club outside of ourselves, the rags, Chelsea and the dippers. Arsenal and Spurs I think are hovering but may slip too far and end up amongst the also rans. Sure the odd club could do a Leicester and win a trophy occasionally but it's getting harder and harder. Any club outside the top four who unearth a gem are going to lose him to a bigger club. We were the same pre 2008, SWP being the best example. We got in by the skin of our teeth before the drawbridge was pulled up and they have tried everything in their power to throw us down into the moat ever since.

Clubs who voted for ffp condemned their own fans to this fate but they were too busy hating on us to see they were being screwed. I don't like it but it is what it is.

The irony is that you can have the riches of Croesus, but if the system is deliberately designed to prevent you from exploiting that wealth and jeopardising the elite’s status, then it is only numbers on a screen. That’s not something of our creation.

In respect to Grealish, his career, like that of all players, is short and he’ll know that in the time it will take Villa to get to challenging where we are, it may just be too late for him. We’ve seen some of the greatest players we’ve ever had come and go in the last ten years, and none has left as a Champions League winner. Anyway, great players don’t desire to leave, they desire to be better and win, so you should have no bitterness about his leaving. No player is bigger than any club.
 
I’m not on Twitter or many other social media platforms to be fair. I have a very low tolerance for the nonsense on them. So I just wanted to register my appreciation for those hardy souls who are on these platforms and bring back the comments from the most deluded. It is funny and I for one appreciate it.

Absolutely. As a competitive spectacle the league pyramid is dead in the water under FFP. It basically freezes the top clubs in place.
