Nobody said he was Aguero. Nobody is. Consistent numbers is what we need.No-one turned up in the big games and made a difference like Aguero did, and he did it consistently.
Harry Kane has never turned up for Spurs, or England, when it mattered.
Harry Kane churns out consistent numbers. Aguero turned out the consistent numbers and provided the cutting edge in some of our biggest games in the past decade. He was a legitimate game changer. Kane has never proven himself that player.
I don't see what everyone else is seeing. Kane would improve us but he's not the player some of you are making him out to be.
Very!!!Still confident about this blues? I’m 50/50 atm.
I think City have promised Pep Kane. He’s available at a silly price so we are negotiating. If we have to pay more than we wanted I think we will.Still confident about this blues? I’m 50/50 atm.
haaland maybeWho would we be in for though it’s not easy to find someone as good as Kane. Unfortunately I suspect it’s Kane or nobody.
I do unfortunatelyhaaland maybe
i don't think dortmund would turn down the same offer we have put in for kane

I suppose a Kane u-turn isn't completely and utterly out of the question but it would be at huge odds to the way he's been feeling about Spurs' ambition and the noises he's been making for a while now, so for me the only realistic way this deal doesn't get done is not if Kane signs a new contract but if City and Levy can't agree a feeDid anyone listen to what Grealish said yesterday? Days and weeks of social media bullshit about Grealish staying at Villa, signing a new contract, etc. Grealish had made up his mind a long time ago that he wanted to play for Pep and City. The same will play out with Kane. I wouldn’t waste one of my sh*ts on social media, and all the chancers and time waster that plague it.

Gumzy. Completely agree. Plus why would Spurs offer Keane a new improved contract? He is under contract for years. If they want to keep him they simply reject all our offers. They don’t even need to offer Keane more… What’s he going to do stay and sulk and not perform and ruin the final few years of his career. He’s a professional with Shearers goal record and his place in the World Cup squad, 2022 in his sights. This gets done after Sunday. Levy just doesn’t want Kane to line up or be a city player when we play them. News of a new contract is a huge huge sign this is close, all we need now is the rags linked.
Levy pr working already.
What Dortmund do or don't do doesn't matter if Haaland expects 400k per week, more than anyone at City at the moment. He's priced himself out of a move here and fancies the 20-50m dividend of just waiting a year. Bit risky considering he could get injured tomorrow and it's all over.
You know what your getting with Kane it’s a huge gamble on Haalandhaaland maybe

I reckon the opposite, has the inside knowledge at *the club* but has no sources with kane's side, so we're hearing what the club wants out atmI've worked with Alasdair Gold, massive Spurs fan, has no inside knowledge at the club though, for sure. Simply clickbait.
Careful, always leave them wanting more. :-)Less than 5 a day? Fuckinell I need to up my game! :-)

One little speculative quote from a massive Spurs lover, and look at the reaction.
It's the same elsewhere but I've used reddit (as I suspected the most they'd overreact) to keep it consistent.
Always be careful with what you read on Twitter.
