I didnt mention figures, though i would ascertain in 3 years time, Haaland will have a value both as part of a successful team, and as a club asset. Kane will have lost his transfer value and will be a diminishing striker.
It is an opinion , 2025/26 will provide the answer.

Why do you think City group are buying Youthful World talent, from South America, and Eastern Europe.
The answer is they are putting vast resources into acquiring this talent, because they believe that they are assets that will grow in value. To play or to be sold on.

Nobody cares what that whopper thinks. Barca pay over 800k a week to Griezmann.

If Haaland doesn't want to come to city then fair enough but if it's about numbers then we can do it. 300k/400k a week is doable. Even the agent fee and transfer fee when you think we can sell him on for at least £120m in the future.

That's not the point... City don't have a bottomless pit of cash - we're a business just like any other and smashing your wage structure for 1 player only leads to bigger and bigger contracts further down the line for everyone...

We can argue about it all day long but City have top accountants and top footballing people running the club and if they think it's not the right thing to do then it's not...?

City aren't in the business of buying players for resale value in 3 years. Just look at the service given to us by Aguero, Silva, Toure, Kompany and so forth. We bought them because they were players we needed and kept us at the top level. If we have doubts over Haaland's motivation to stay here then he is not the right player, Kane is not going to stay at City and leave at 34 to go to Madrid or Barca is he. He likely retires here hopefully with multiple medals and having paid back his fee in goals, assists and trophies.
