Do any of you seriously think Lewis and Levy want to sell Kane, their best player, to the Arabs and City? And do any of you think United, Liverpool, and Arsenal haven’t been telling Spurs to reject any offer from the Arabs and City for Kane?

I don't feel this will be done Tbh unless we're willing to Pay the £150m which seems unlikely it's gone too far in to the window now for Levy to want to negotiate a lower price

From what I've read from Spurs media Romero had been training for longer than kane. Not sure the exact fitness thing but there does seem to be legimitate concerns from Nuno that he isn't fit.
 
Considering we've now passed on all the available alternatives we've been linked to, from Messi and Lukaku, Andre Silva and Patson Daka, and even Danny Ings, it would seem that we must either be prepared to pay the asking price or go without a new striker.

The only way to negotiate down was if Kane forced the move, by refusing to play/train. Now, there are two possibilities for where we are now - either Kane was successful over the last couple of weeks in forcing Levy to come to the table and this is all part of the PR dance as the two sides negotiate the finer details, or Kane failed/backed down and now we are left at square one - either pay Levy's price or go without.

You could say the same about Kane. He is only interested in City. Spurs are in a no win situation.

Or Spurs just want to keep their best player because without Kane we are a much weaker team?

Wouldn't have made the slightest bit of difference if we said we were in for 10 other strikers.

That **** Levy would still be crying about wanting 3 billion and refusing to answer the phone.

Well, not really? He's not putting up any ultimatum. In fact, reports are saying he'll "continue to give everything to spurs", meaning he'll stay and shut up about it. Spurs have a very easy win here - just don't sell.

In my personal opinion, this news has been leaked by Harry's camp in a desperate attempt to give levy a final push. I doubt levy will change his stance. He is stubborn as fuck. Only way we get kane is if we pay up 150.

Except they are in huge debts and their best player and biggest asset wants out and his value will rapidly decrease each window after now should they keep him.
 
let's be blunt here. What would your reactions be if this sort of saga happened to the rags? we'd be laughing our asses off at how easily they got swindled by charlie kane and levy and how they put their eggs in one basket.

IF this doesn't end up happening, yes, objectively we've absolutely mishandled this summer's striker charge.

Player power will prevail. Spurs will be left with an unmotivated player. Eventually, Kane will get his move.

As for the hate…fuck them all. Levy has failed to turn Spurs into champions and that has fuck all to do with city but his total incompetence in running a football club.

they'll continue to be in massive debt with or without kane. clearly if the debt was THIS important they'd have sold, but he prefers keeping their best player, which as long as he continues to accept it quietly, is no problem for them
 
To be fair levy is playing a blinder here. He knows we have backed ourselves in a corner and only have one viable option. He also knows Kane won’t refuse to play or kick up to much of a fuss as he is determined to break shearer’s goal scoring record and doesn’t want to sour his relationship with the spurs fans any further.

It’s time for city to either pay the asking price or go into the season with one senior striker. Absolute naivety from city tbh
