Not sure it was the wisest of moves by City to announce to everyone Aguero leaving, showing that we're very much in need of a striker. Then to base our entire striker hopes on a player who just signed a long contract with no release clause.
Especially when it seems we have no back up option with 2 weeks to go.
City people can be quietly confident all they like. Spurs are under no pressure or need to sell. If anyone is likely to crack it will be City who need a striker. We do tend to pay what the selling club asks for anyway.
