If Laporte is staying , I can't see Ake wanting to be 4th choice, Ake has already been here a year so we will have already had amortisation of his original fee.That would make the deal nearly £170 mill we wouldn’t do that ,besides we won’t let Ake go. We’ll pay 120/130 with add ons up to £150 mill.
We also have Sandler, a huge talent if he is over his injuries, he could be 4th choice.

That would surely be more of a pain in the arse? Which good player would agree to go there for less money and no champions league? City would be better doing £130m plus add ons to £150m and then maybe selling someone for £50-60m? Bernardo Silva maybe?
None of our first team squad would entertain going there.
No doubt some of the fringe / youth lads would jump at the chance though.
