Maybe pep hates Ronaldo. Can't see it being an age thing because he's in good condition and not really injury prone.

The problem is, Ronaldo's drive to be the best only applies to himself, not his team. His dedication and ambition are truly extraordinary, but that's because he wants to be seen as the greatest ever, and he expects everyone else to service that goal

Perfect, that’s what we want. We have a team full of creators, we need a focal point.

When we get a penalty, we’ve discussed using our goalkeeper.
 
Would be an excellent short term solution. Gambling everything on Kane when you need to negotiate a fee with Levy is a fools game. I’d much rather bring in someone capable for a season or two and then reassess options rather than throw £120m+ at a 28yo Kane.
 
it's not happening. If it became a possibility I'd say no all day and night. There are certain players I could never stomach in a sky blue shirt and he's close to the top of the list. And he's got one of the most smackable faces in football.
 
Proven goal scorer. We need one. Do it City just as a loan deal if we don't get Kane.
 
Hard pass Ronaldo. He’s the exact antithesis of what we do at City. He’s lazy, rarely ever helps bring the ball forward and contributes absolutely zero to an attack besides sitting 3 feet from the 6 yard box. Earlier in his career he could justify all those shortcomings by his goal scoring. Now, he can’t even do that very well. Absolutely would hate this transfer for us.

If you think Jesus, Torres and Sterling are wasteful wait until you see this guy.
 
Massive no from me. Aside from him being an absolute ****, in pure footballing terms, don't see how he fits in. Work rate and link up play have all but evaporated in his twilight years, so can't see how Pep would entertain it.
