Levy says that he doesn't, apparently. I doubt he really thinks that. It's a wild amount. Football club revenues have been flat or dropping for 2 years.

To be honest, I think , if Harry really wants to move he should put that transfer request. We would also give him joining bonus. Even if he loses cash because of transfer request , he will gain much more(I believe).
£125M+add-ons and Harry's Transfer request should do the job?
 
There does seem to be a very different view as to how other clubs operate.

Had the misfortune to turn on the transfer show on sly this morning. A truly inane rentagob woman for Chelsea was saying that although they've spent on Lukaku 'Rice would be nice.'

Did the presenters or other talking head pull her up on ffp or how they're affording this? Just saying how well they'd done to get £34m for Abraham! Where's the other £65m come from??

CF the number of players we've moved on to raise £60m of the Grealish fee. But we're ruining football?!?
 
The DT this morning reports on previous transfers from Spurs - Bent, Moura, Bale 'n Berbaflop - and 'gentlemen's agreement' appears to get mentioned more than once. i cant understand, with the previous, why people would want to do business with Levy. And if we get 'Arry it will be City that all the shite lands on for paying the price and not Levy for demanding it.

If Bayern is(actually) asking £110M for a 33 year old. Can you blame levy for wanting £150M for kane who is 28 and PL proven. This fucking market is inflated as hell after that neymar Transfer!

Don’t know I’m convinced we will get him but maybe if we don’t get it done by Sunday we will have to look at other options! We need a striker!

Not sure it makes all that difference. Everyone is trying to justify his price by saying we'll get at least 4 good seasons out of him so if we wait a year the price gets slashed and we still get 3 years out of him. I really don't see us going to the amount Levy wants. In fact I think Levy is pretty much just taking the piss now and has no intention to sell at all and is dragging it out by refusing to engage.

We should tell Kane sorry it's not workable this summer due to Levy being a **** but to be patient and we will be back next summer. That keeps him happy knowing he will get his move and we haven't left him in the lurch and we sign Vlahovic so we have a striker for this season. Also gives us a year to find buyers for the three or four players who want out to free up funds.
 
"Levy won't engage with Man City" in one sentence then seemingly we have increased out bid to £125m ...so who are we negotiating with ? It's all showboating bollox and i really hope we walk away from this unless a figure has been agreed weeks ago and it's all for show to make Levy look like he was fighting to keep him all along.
 
We are to blame in this, it's really come down to £150m or nowt. Just pay the fuckers and get the player.

If the board knew that they needed to sell someone to finance both the deals, why was the Jack Grealish deal prioritised over signing someone like Kane who was the only missing piece in our armor, in terms of offense?

I want to believe that Khaldoon is not just an empty vessel making a lot of noise in his post season reviews but at this moment, 7 windows without a LB, few more without an athletic DM and 5 years since signing a CF reeks to me of the same.
