Harry Kane

Well Tolmie said we may hear big news on kane today. However we must have set a deadline because there are two options available who may move to other teams if we leave this any longer

I think it’s now or never for Kane.
If we did go back for him Levy could just say no again. Kane Vs Levy will not be our problem in 2 weeks.
 
I'm sure internally we're not being played for the mugs that the media are reporting, but enough is enough on this one. We have to stand our ground and be prepared to walk away and look for an alternative. We've worked so hard to not avoid paying a too inflated 'city tax' and if we go and give 150m quid to Levy because he played hardball then we should be prepared for every selling club to do so, even more than normal, in the future.

All for it but it has implications on our season, as we have no alternative to Kane. Sure Pep will work out a solution but I think it will show in due course again as to how we still need a striker, think we can grind through another season though.

Blame in the sense of letting Levy have the upper hand when we paid £100m for Grealish, then negotiating in final days of the window with £125m, it's obvious why a cnut like Levy will further his stance that it's £150m or player stays. We have 3 first team players who want out, allegedly Laporte may have been told to stay, same with Jesus, but the one that certainly wants out in Bernardo Silva has no buyer come forward yet. It all adds up in weakening our bargaining position, and already having no alternatives for Kane (understandably so, but nevertheless).

Needed to sort our defence last year not the forward position as we still had Aguero.

Jeez.
