But you can't post a big statement like he did and then shy away when I challenged him about his mate who predicted something in the past.

:) , people hear all sorts, from different people , i once predicted a transfer, though i don't like to bring it up :) the great cancelo transfer, i even had pictures of him arriving at teh private jet park at mcr airport, but i couldn't post them, and the lad that got me the info and pics didn't have a clue who cancelo was, he just heard a footballer was coming in, gave me his name ,then sent pics after.

I have listened to enough podcasts recently to get the idea that journalists very rarely put their neck out because of all the abuse they get, see Sam Lee and the Grealish deal.

Very few people know whats going on, if a barber or the dog walker have heard things its going to be impossible for a journalist to trace that story back and get someone to admit to it. So they just won't say anything till they have something from what they would consider a "source"

Mate of mine does work experience with the bloke who mops the floors underneath Kane when he’s doing his interviews.

I’ve got some news this morning from my mate who works within the horse racing industry he isn’t a football fan but passes on bits of info he hears about to our group of mates about all different clubs.
He was working for one particular owner yesterday and was around a chat regarding Kane and apparently it is well known between agents and clubs that the deal is agreed. Spurs are trying to get players in but do it without getting fleeced and in most cases trying to get them on the cheap under market value using the pandemic as a reason. They are struggling to do this as the selling clubs are aware of what is going on and this is where the delay is.
Apparently Kane did not want to play at the weekend but compromised to help with the facade that the deal is not done.
He is pushing really hard to get to us ASAP he originally refused to go back to Spurs but that got Levy’s back up we spoke to him and asked him to be patient and try to not rock the boat.
If Spurs cannot get the players they want for the price they want the deal will only get done on or around deadline day.

I am doubting your info but I wonder if Mr Ed (The Stables) can corroborate please ? Go on Paul tell us that it's true mate

I literally explained myself immediately after saying it, it's in the same sentence. If we tread water whilst our rivals improve and catch up then you effectively go backwards. There's time for that to change but that's currently the case with our squad.

We're standing still by buying Grealish? Torres is also more experienced and Delap is getting closer.

I dp agree though that Chelsea should now be favourites for the title. Their side is now at its peak and possibly the best side in Europe. They had one problem, and they solved it through signing Lukaku.

If Spurs turn down a renewed bid where we are already at £100m for a 28 year old player, then there is nothing more to be done.

Yes. Grealish is a luxury signing, a player who doesn't neccesarily improve our starting 11 given his position is one of our strongest and most stacked areas in the squad. He's the type of signing you make when your squad has no obvious weaknesses or areas to improve and you're flush with cash. Neither apply to us this summer.

For every Torres that might improve with experience there's somebody over 30 on the decline. unless we have a team of eds players that evens itself out across the squad.
